They call every morning and afternoon. Morning they **** up when I answer and afternoon a recorded message is left. EXTREMELY frustrating. Tried calling the 816 number below but no answer.

Got a call from this # on 1/1/11.  Polite enough man calling from VFW pushing for donation to charge on my bank debit card.  Skeptical being it's a holiday and now asking for my cards numbers.  Being I was in the holiday mood, I agreed to a smaller donation than suggested $50 or $65 donation and requested to pay by mail.  Received mailing today and looks legit.  Do I mail any payment?  I will visit our local veteran service office for any info.

Called about 7:30. Identified himself as calling for VFW. Lots of Party-type noise in the background. I commented on the noise and the caller made some remark about the Vikings/Phillies game then ***g up.

i have been getting calls from a lot of these phone numbers and the best thing to do is dont answer the phone . make a complaint with the ftc and atty. gen office.

They called me yes****ay...collecting donations for the VFW. Read a script verbatim...mentioned in his s***l.."this recorded message.." I wanted to correct him and let him know he wasn't a recording...shee*** I then asked him how they collected donations..he said by credit card over the phone. ARE THEY SERIOUS?!! The call came through as unknown and they honestly think people are just going to give a total stranger their credit card number? I told him I would not donate at this time and ***g up.

No message left, and reverse id lookup only shows Hastings, MN.. We don't answer calls of numbers we don't know. It appears to be a holiday time scam for monies from information on the web.

I recieved this call but wasn't able to answer it in time, they didn't leave a message, I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST !

A call requesting funds for VFW. We believe the cause is a good one. I told the female caller that we respond to requests of this nature by mail only. I told her this two times and she was still proceding to continue her plea. I felt disrespected so I ***g up on her.

Same thing they call and there nothing on the other end of the phone line! I am going to filea complaint with "Do Not Call List" because I think they call these Ghost Calls with a fine of $10,000.00 per call penalty!Everybody should sign up for the "Do Not Call List", you can register your telephone number at:https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx it only takes a few moments and it last 10 years

I have no idea who this is or why they are calling - they do not leave a name or the reason why they are calling. All I know is that after working a 12 hour night shift, when someone calls when I am sleeping, they should have the common courtesy to leave a message.  I tried to do a reverse look up for this telephone number and found that it originated from Hastings, Minnesota.

Same.  They called me at my office at 8:30am.  No one on the other end of the line.

Call received this afternoon from this telephone number .... caller ID showed Hastings, MN.No message left.****ential scam!

Gal calling from this number refuses to leave msg or give her name. ****s up as soon as I ask who she is.
