This is a scam! Do not answer or return the calls. If you have applied for loans online this is how they get your info. They're not legit and the FTC can't catch them bc they c****e their numbers. Don't sweat it. Just tell them you know they are a fraud and to bring it on. Cops won't show up to arrest or serve you like they claim. Oh, the stories they tell. Just laugh at them...and say there is no way some barely English speaking man has a name like Joe Brown.

My husband is getting the same thing. This guy claims to be from a law office in CA and that we are being sued for a payday loan that we never took out. However, when we tell him to send us proof, he refuses and says he doesn't have to show us anything. We are contacting the attorney general in CA and also the attorney general in CT (where we live). I strongly suggest that you do not give him ANY personal information about yourself. Contact the attorney general in the state that you live and report him. They are obligated to show you any proof of a debt that you owe. Good luck :)

I received a message today (Friday April 8th) at 3:31pm PDT.  It was a man's voice, Indian, and sounding very firm and mean.  He says his name is Victor Brown, no Indian man I know has that simple of a name.  He says in the message to return the call immediately and if I don't return the call, "all I can say is good luck to you!"   This is ridiculous.  I'm tired of all these scam calls. The call shows up as "Out of Area 0000"

this man with an indian accent is harassing me at my job  he leaves bogus call back numbers.  told him to leave me alone bu he keeps calling....he uses different phone numbers so he won't get caught.  I don't know what to do.
