An indian U.S federal police officer lol, asking for my info because of su****ious activity to my bank acct.

This number called, I answered & no spoke, then caller ***g up. Juxst maybe an accident calling the wrong number. I blocked the number, just in case.

Not really a debt collector but a scam artist claiming to be a debt collector for a pay day loan which you really didn't apply for.  They are trying to threaten you with an arrest for not paying on a pay day loan.  Don't give them any personal information or verify whatever personal information you have other than your name.  You need to be served with papers in person and not over the phone, instead of these unfounded threats of sending this information to my employers that I would be going to jail or we would be garnished.  When fielding these kind of calls, take down as much information as possible (name, number, name of company, their physical address and how much debt they claim to have.  File a claim a***nst these fraudulent individuals to the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/.  I know it's difficult since these ****ers use a phone bank to channel their calls through from overseas, but by at least reporting these businesses, it will make the FTC be aware of the situation and monitor these companies even harder.

This is a scam! Do not answer or return the calls. If you have applied for loans online this is how they get your info. They're not legit and the FTC can't catch them bc they c****e their numbers. Don't sweat it. Just tell them you know they are a fraud and to bring it on. Cops won't show up to arrest or serve you like they claim. Oh, the stories they tell. Just laugh at them...and say there is no way some barely English speaking man has a name like Joe Brown.

I have been threaten by these people and told if I didnt send the money I would be put in Jail. I get calls everyday for about three weeks now. My friends are being called and aske how to reach me.

Got to work yes****ay and was told I had a message with this phone number. Was told his name was Oscar Ortiz. I got home from work and had a message on my phone and it was this Oscar Ortiz. Clearly he had a foreign accent but not a latin accent like the name would suggest. He spoke slowly like he was reading a script and since I have had several scam calls, it was the exact same message as I have had before. I gather all the info I can find and turn them into my attorney general.
