The same thing happen to me this morning (4/7/2011). I called the number back to see what the urgent matter was about and the guy by the name of Kevin Johson ***g up on me twice.  He refuse to give me any information.  He said I am in default on a payday loan for $300.00.  I told thim that I didn't take any loan out.  He said he'll see me in court.  I can't even get the name of the company that this call is coming from.

Yes, this sounds so familiar....my husband called the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION and DO NOT give any imformation.

I recieved a call from a guy who said he was a criminal attorney for S***dy Cash and that my husband has a warrant out for his arrest because he took out a payday loan and never paid it back. His name he used is DAVID COOPER. He had a foreign accent and made it sound really urgent that we call him to make arrangements before my husband was arrested.We have never gotten a payday loan from S***d Cash. In fact I only use one company and they have nothing to do with S***dy Cash.  We are current with them so there is no reason for them to come after us.  The first payment is not due until April 22 so I don't know why I would have such threats.This has to be a scam and I am not calling them back at 661-240-9237.  He calls the cell phone so they would of had to get it off line because I don't advertise my cell number.  I am just going to ignore the number from now on. I just wanted to report it.

I got a call from them today stating that they were going to be at my work on Thursday to pick me up. I had received this type of call about a year ago and they had said the same thing. And NOTHING happened. So they are fing IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the same message, exactly the same except he said his name was Officer Tom (so****ing). I told this person the first time that he would have to show me proof of who I owed that money to. He couldn't even tell me how much this supposed loan was for, much less who it was owed to. I told him that I was not paying them anything because it sounded like a scam to me just to get my banking information for one, and to get payments from me!! I ****es me off to get these calls and then they threaten you which makes me even more ****ed off!! And this call was made to me on my cell phone and then at my place of employment. Obviously, the places that you may have dealth with for these payday loans is selling your information to these scam artist. What a shame!!

I had this message waiting for me when I got to work this morning. Have no fear of these people and for God's sake, do not send them any money.Message:This message is intended for -----.. I need you or your attorney (unintelligble) to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Roger Jones. And Hotline to my division 661-240-9237. Don’t disregard this message, return the call. Now. If you don’t return the call or I don’t hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is (unintelligible words here) as the situation unfolds on you ___. I have had calls from this number also. Once you apply for a payday loan of any kind all these companies call you and say that you owe money. I filed for a payday loan ( which I paid ) and my cousin is an attorney. She told me when you apply for those the sites that have your info will try to call you and scam you into paying for a loan that you never received. She said they****ume that people won't remember which Pay day loan they received and fall for their BS and pay them. Do NOT believe them!! They are usually foreign ( the agent ) and they are rude, and crass and they threaten you with laws that don't exist and that you will get fired from your job and more things along those lines to try and scare you into paying them.  If you get a call like this and you know that you don't owe money to a pay day loan  company then just **** up or don't answer. They called me and I told them I had a pay day loan and I paid it in full and that I have the receipt. He asked me to see it, but I told him that I did NOT receive a loan with their company and I wasn't sending him private billing information. He threatened legal action and I told him to go ahead, bc I have the receipt for payment and that if he called me a***n I would sue him for harassment and fraud and he ***g up. lol

Received a call from some Indian dude calling himself Officer Andy Parker.  Said for my attorney of record or me to contact him ASAP.  If I disregard the call bad things would happen to me.  I'll let you know if anything happens.

Steven McDonald with Legal****ociates of California called me from 011-661-240-9237. He stated that I could take care of a payday loan matter with S***dy Cash for $852.30 or get picked up by local police and taken to court and have to pay $8,000.00.

David Cooper with Law Offices of California called me from 661-240-9237. He stated that I owed a payday loan with S***dy Cash and that I will be picked up on Friday by my local police and I had better have $8000.00 to take care of this matter. How ****** do they think I am.

I got a phone called from this number telling me that I had a legal matter a***nst me from a payday loan company that I didn't contact and the guy was rude and ***g up on me. I called back and asked to speak to the attorney and he told me "No are you going to pay him"
