Phony calling to "fix" my debt, which I don't have any outstanding debt so they just kept trying to make excuses as to why they were calling

Sounded more like a phishing call to me.  Could have been a debt collector.  They kept asking about the "person" they were trying to reach.  Almost had to just ****up the phone to shut her up.

As with most calls from debt collectors, they 'all' ask for a phony name. This one was calling for a 'Raybert' or some such first name.
