April Not sure, have seen a different message board saying it's debt collectors for student loans. I've never had student loans, but I still don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and they won't leave a message (this is probably the 5th or 6th call in a week or so), so they'll be added to blocked numbers today.

Nicole Number called me and said they were calling because my sister used me as a reference, but wouldn't specify what I was being used as a reference for. They wouldn't even tell me who they were... Strange

Bob Received a call from this number @ 02:45am. When answered, a recording said, "Apartments.com"

anonymous spammer. I get two to three calls a day from this number, sometimes within seconds of each other, but they never leave a voicemail. I called the number back and it rang through to music with ***ody answering. definitely spammer.

Reannan I think this "company" is a scam- they said i had a student loan debt and demanded personal info.. and the thing is- my loans were paid off years ago- do NOT trust these people!!

For the past week I've been getting calls from several different phone numbers from CA. They've all been blocked on my cell, but now they've calling my place of employment!!! A woman by the name of Maria Ramos called my job looking for me when I wasn't working and apparently told my coworker it couldn't wait until Friday, so she gave her name and number for me to call. I know no one in California and now is beyond annoying!

Cai No voicemail left. WHen i called back, a woman directed me to "Amanda", who stated that I must have been called as a mistake, because nothing comes up when they look up my phone number. I was asked if I was expecting a call about "references".

so why do you advertise on line as being a free service, and then charge people for the report. why do you lie?....I hate liars.

This is a collection agency for state tax. I don't know how many states are covered by this but it is more than likely that they are a subcontracted because the number is out of state from where I live.

Annoyed Will not give any company information out, calls sometimes more than 3 times a day, they keep calling even when told to stop. They pretend to sound helpful one moment but once you straight up tell them you don't believe anything they are throwing at you they attempt to sound menacing. They will not explain where they have gotten the information they have.

j Called my cousin saying it was AT&T that I had filled out an application back in Sept, and that I had put her as a reference...then of course, asked if I had a new phone #, address, and asked if I was working etc...Nice scam but I will be letting AT&T know about this! Not sure what this is for, but Ive never had AT&T as a cell carrier, so I know its not for an unpaid cell phone bill.

ACT - Account Control Technology.  I quizzed the "gentleman" who called.  They are a collection agency.  He was looking for someone who does not work here and was very rude when I told him that.  I directed him to NEVER call this number a***n.

Keeps calling

Strange call from a Mr. Waters saying and gave last 4 numbers of my social .  The numbers were wrong and he very quickly ***g up.

My parents each recieved a phone call of someone phishing for information about me from this number?
