did they do a backgorund check and credit check when you got hired cause i have a interview with them

I received two telephone calls from the mentioned company requesting to speak to someone who does not live here and I do not know.  I have in the past requested the company  stop calling my home and sending correspondence to my address.  I even went as far as to place my name on my mail box but, the mail person continued to deliver mail to my address.

That is a direct violation of FDCPA. They MUST be truthful about their iden***y as a collection agency. Yes, for the record, Riexinger &****ociates, LLC Attorneys at Law (laughs) ARE a collection agency a debt collector under federal law. What they told you equals the ability of the alleged debtor being able to sue them for up to $1000.00 (Makes a great way to file a counter claim if they do sue.) ;)

I got a call from these people today.  They were extremely rude and resorted to name calling.  I explained that I am unemployed and the man became quite verbally abusive calling me lazy and saying I needed to get a job.  Honestly, it is not my choice to be unemployed.  I suffer from an anxiety disorder and had a panic attack when he said that he would recommend his employer pursue this to the fullest extent of the law.  Then he ***g up on me.  I called back and talked to someone else but there are some very troublesome aspects to the conversation.  No one that I spoke to could tell me what debt this was regarding and how they would pursue it to the fullest extent of the law.  Mostly they wanted to talk numbers and how I would get money to them.  I feel they took advantage of my medical condition.

I used to work for them too.  What a getto operation.  When did you work there maybe we worked together???

G- I see why you failed as one of their debt collectors, and that's why you got fired. FYI their clients do sue all over the United States, which shows you dont know how they work. You never were employed in the Legal Department so dont speak on what they do. You were just a debt collector trying to get a bonus check and now you are mad because you failed and couldnt even be successful at the easiest job ever. So dont hate, keep it moving. P.S good luck at finding another job, which will be hard to do so since you lack such loyalty for a company that took a chance on employing you.

If you want the process to stop all you have to do is either send in a letter telling them to not contact you by phone anymore and by debt collection law they can no longer use the phone to harass you. Honestly if you were not living in the state of GA I would not even worry about them because they can't sue you in other states because they do not have a license to practice law in other states. I used to work for them and know how everything there works. just send it in writing to quit calling and answer no communications for 7 years and it will come off your credit in that amount of time.

YES they called my house for someone that doesnt and never has lived here...i dont know why they keep calling...if they want the person they want then they can find ways to find them not us who are not the person they are looking for..they just use someone with the same last name....

These idiots called me looking for a guy who had my phone number over four years ago. I filed a complaint with the State Bar of Georgia. You may or may not want to do the same. They just called my new cell phone number, to tell me that they want me to voluntairly agree to settle a bill with HSBC, i in no way deny that i owe the bill, and i have told them my situation over and over, yet i pull my credit report and it says that is was charged off by HSBC in october 07 and sold to another agency. HOW can they sue me like they are threatening me for a bill that they bought? They are rude and told me that i needed to find some "idiot" to take care of my business for me. what i say is "***** you!" i am sending a cease calling order tomorrow!

These people are calling me and one of my neighbors asking about someone that we don't know or have any knowledge of.

Yep...same folks.  And get this...they just had a local Law Enforcement offcier serve me with a summons about a civil action...OVER a $1700 bill.  Guess times are tough for bill collectors when it makes sense to file suit for such a small amount.
