yes john lord keepss calling me and harrassing me for a payday loan. thats all he is. he was telling me im getting sued an fraud charges etc.. im****uming this is just a harmfull scare tastic. and pathetic. he also told me if i didnt agree with the settlement my account was going into arbitration.. lol that means hzb company will sell it to another company because they didnt make any money off of it. hes just a debt collector. tell him you have rights n will report him. :)

I am glad someone knows who he is.  He called me today claiming the same exact thing.  Bill collectors are the worst.  I know you have to work but do you have to use such unsavory tactics to intimidate people!

Thank you so much for posting this message.  I just got a VM from this guy and I always look someone up before I call back.  I thought to my self if this is true fraud a***nst my SS# the company that I pay money to inform me would have called before this guy did.Thanks for the info.  It's funny how people can be big and bad over the phone.

This John Lord is a debt collector. No law firm would call you on the phone to threaten you with a fraud case.  Legal notifications are done in writting usually by Certified Letter.  This is just the latest in a list of strong arm tactics that are being used to collect debts. I've reported this guy to the Attorney General in my state and suggest everyone else do the same. If he is not a licensed attorney and is portraying one they would be very interested in talking to Mr Lord or whatever his name is.

This guy's name is John Lord and he calls claiming to be investigating a fraud case involving the person he is calling. He claims to be an attorney and says he must speak with you ASAP. Why then would a Law Firm have an unpublished number which this one is. The number originates from Atlanta, GA and is unpublished. I would imagine any Law Firm would have thier number published to receive business. This guy is a debt collector using strong arm tactics to try and scare people and intimidate. I have reported him to the Attorney General in the state I live in and suggest anyone else do the same. If he is not an attorney I would imagine that is fraud.

Same thing happened to me.  Called me and said that I had a fraud/deception case and that criminal charges were pending being filed a***nst me in the county which I didn't live in.  Caught him in several lies and this has really made me angry.  He isn't an attorney like he claims! I think someone needs to do so****ing legal a***nst this company and this man!

This guy called me too. I have no idea who he is or what he wants. All he said was "he working on a fraud case. Returned his called and on the voice mail said his name and the companies name is HZB? never heard of them.

A man call John Lord and said that he had an identy theft case being filed in my county next week and that he needed to verify my personal information to determine if that was me and that we needed. but wouldnt give me any information about him or the company that he reprented

I received this call from the same person, John Lord. He mentioned the county I previously lived in and said there was so****ing urgent he needed to talk to me about, that maybe this was a case of iden***y theft.  He also said that my social security matched with the information he had.  This was very strange.  I have not returned the call and do not plan on it.  Has this happened to anyone else?

received a call from this same person at this number-John LordI already knew it was bogus from the 678 #! I told him to send me so****ing in writing proving this debt and he became very beligerent! next time he calls I can tell him I saw this on the internet!

got a call from the guy john lord saying there is a fraud case a***nst me and they needed a statement from me and to call back 678-369-4135 within 24 hours.
