Recieved a text saying hi is this Sylvia They know my name. I replied with who is this and no response. I blocked the number

This is a second text from this sender, first was received 2 days ago. First text asked “hey is this (my first name)? And today’s text said “hey (my first name) want to know if you got my last text?” I haven’t opened or replied to either text, only read the preview. Deleted the unopened texts & marked as spam.

As others have mentioned, text asked my name. “Hey, is this …?” Did not respond. Marked as spam and blocked.

Text only asks “Hey is this ?” Not opening the text and not replying.

Only ask was this my first name.

Same as previous comment. Asked for me by first name. I responded and confirmed my first name, no further follow-up.

Getting texts from this number asking if it is me by name. No other information given. Did not respond
