Betsy These people just call all the time. I don't owe anyone anything , don't have an credit cards and have never been late on any bills. I never answer the phone, but I do google the numbers that call here. They don't leave a message, and they don't give up. These reports are useless. We as the people and the customers of all these phone companies, have to stand up and tell these companies, if they can' do something to stop these jerks, then at leaset caller ID shouls be FREE!!!!!!

anon I was getting calls from this number daily and at all hours. I finally tried answering and no one was there. So, I called it back and I believe they said Nationwide something when they answered in India. I asked why I keep getting calls from this number and they asked if so-and-so lived here and I said no. I know no one by that name. They apologized and said they'd remove my number from the database. Let's see if it really happens. In any event, they didn't hassle me at all. I'm assuming based on the call frequency that it was a collection agency of some kind.

Idk what this number is. I tried to call it & I got a recording saying the number was not in service yet & some bs. I received 6 missed calls in 1 minute from the same number this morning @ 9:28 & then 7 missed calls in the same minute @ 4:00. I blocked it, but it still shows up as a missed call on my phone.

@ Tom Black, it depends. If they're calling ur cell, usually can either sign up for call block, hire an independent Co. to intervene, or, if u have an iphone, u need iBlacklist. Which requires jailbreaking to install. If they're calling ur landline, there are several models of phones that offer call block. Stupid spammers.

Tried to call the number back soon after getting a call and the operater said it's not a working number.

The guy just said "oh my god" then heavy breathing for several miutes.

Called multiple times various days in a row, to an unlisted number. Once caller ID showed "Buford, GA" and other times it was some variation of a long number alwasy starting with a 'V.' Example: "V21515291000022"

So annoying~~they just can't understand what " do not call anymore" mean...

Steve They call back over and over and don't leave a message. If you try to call the number, it's not a working number. If you do answer and they actually stay on the line, you get a computer (that sounds almost like a human) that tells you that they are selling "affordable health insurance." If you indicate that you'd like to speak with a licensed insurance agent, you are put on hold for a minute. When the agent comes on the line, he dives right into the sales pitch. "What city and state are you in? What are your preexisting conditions." After telling him where I was and before answering the next question, I asked, "What city and state are YOU in?" He repeated the preexisting conditions question, so I repeated my question about his location. He said, "All right then..." and hung up on me. A legitimate insurance company would not do that to you. BEWARE - IT'S A SCAM!

Annoyed Number was one of many that called me when someone (other than myself) filled out my phone number for "free federal health insurance". Ive been contacted by this number 4 times and 15 times over the past six days.

nick Called my home phone. Took a couple of seconds to connect to someone after I said hello. She rattled off some name quickly and said that homeowners in my area are qualified for a no-cost security system. I asked to be taken off the list and she said she would. I asked for her name & the name of the company and she repeated that she would take me off the list. I asked why they are calling people on a no-call list and she hung up. I called the number back and it said to state my name and Google voice would try to connect me. I didn't say anything and I heard a ring. Someone answered the phone and I asked him why I received a call from his number. He said his name was Andre Barnes and that this is a Google voice phone and that it's been acting crazy. He apologized and said he would straighten it out with Google. Incidentally, I dialed a *67 before I called him to block my number. I would neither give my name or number to him.

Tom Stock Claim they are with the "Health and Wellness center" trying to sell insurance. I am on the do not call list and they still call me a few times a month. I have filed a complaint with the Dpt of Agr it goes nowhere.

Jeff I got a call from them tonight on my land line. When I answered the phone and said hello a couple of times the person finally said He was sorry and had the wrong number but I looked back through caller id and they have been calling all week! I did as comments previously suggested and called them back to have my number removed from their calling list! It is some sort of insurance company but the odd thing is I haven't requested a quote online!

I called them back after hours and was able to use their automated system to pretty easily remove my number from their calling list. Was getting 2 calls a day previously.
