There have been articles that scammers have been known to target****ential scam victims by texting numbers of people they don't know in order to s**** a rapport with them, creating a connection, then running their scam (usually asking money with a tear-****ing tragic story).

813-736-2814 called 30 Aug 2022 at 2:06pm and 2:22pm double ring. "ah, We can use Federal Protection Laws in place to reduce or possibly eliminate your debt. So give us a call back at 702-840-4577. A***n, that's 702-840-4577." Calls from a Florida number but refers back to a Nevada number. SCAM

This phone number called my wife on a work phone claiming they had her son in a drug deal and had a kid screaming in the back. Thank God it was not true and her son was with grandma.

was nov 1st Monday when I recieved these calls and I was annoyed my sleep was interupted

It's a recorded msg to call them to set up arrangements for a student because the government has not renewed a student loan policy and states the phone number to call is 702.840.***1, which differs from the caller ID of 725.224.0032. I have no student loan. It is a scam attempt.
