I called my local verizon customer service and this this company blocked.

I also received a call from this number, the women told me that clear mark was the owner of Verizon now  and that they were dropping prices for Verizon customers, but what showed up on my caller ID wasn't any of these company's names, it said "private number" (weird right?), she told me that i was going to be transferred to a different person who would ask me questions for identification purposes, but what was really messed up was she told me that this person isn't authorized to ask me any questions without my permission.  So I asked if every Verizon customer was receiving this same offer and she then said yes, but mentioned so****ing about the government doing this, then thats when my red flags went up and i knew that so****ing wasn't right, so before i was transferred to the "unauthorized person to ask me questions" i ***g up. Im wondering what is really going on here, i cant find any information about this clear mark company and i want to know whats going on.  Im glad i ***g up, these days you're never safe giving information out blindly.

For the past several weeks I have been getting calls from 702-967-0452.  They **** up when I answer. When I call the number back a recording says that they are on the other line at extension 1111.  Please tell w***ver this calling to stop. This is very annoying.

I got a call from this number and they said they were from Clear Mark or so****ing like that.  They said they were the company that was buying out Verizon (our current telephone service).  They asked for my name, my date of birth, and said that services would be turned over to their company.  It would include local and long distance and various services. I gave them the information and I'm extremely nervous now.  Does anyone know anything about this?  Please help.  The conversation s****ed with a man, then he transfered me to a female who asked me questions to say "yes" or "no" to.  A follow up call from a supervisor, then, verified that someone had called regarding telephone services.
