Just got 2 calls from 2 different #'s - both belong to them; 7029907883, 7022273934 --- reported both to Do Not Call Registry I have an ad on cars.com, am removing my # from the posting ASAP

Listed cars on Craiglist. Pretty sure that is how they got my number.

These people call everyday about a car I have listed on autotrader. MAKE THEM STOP!!!! I have told them not to call and they continue to call.

They called me about 10 times and I have repedetly asked them to remove me from list. They should stop waistin peoples time and money.

they called me...i allowed my ans mach to pick up...apparently they didnt wait for the messege to stop so the messege they left me was cut off. I called them back. I asked what they wanted. The guy told me that they sell cars. So I said yes continue. He said "thats it we sell cars". I was expecting more of a sales pitch so I waited for more of an explaination...then the call disconnected. I called back and another person answered so Iasked what they do...the guy said rudely "we sell cars, it costs $200". So I said.."ok, what do you do for $200?" He said "We sell cars for $200". If thats the way they treat me to get me to do business with them, imagine how they would treat after I spent money with them. I hope they don't call me back like I am reading about here!

I got a call today from an ad on Ebay.  I think we need to place a bunch of fake ads that will get a huge response, like a really nice car selling for almost nothing, and use their phone numbers, 702-990-7883, 702-736-7359, and, 702-685-0729, as the contact info for that vehicle.  See how they like it when they wind up calling themselves.  Bunch of ****s!  :-)

I got these people calling me several times a day from an ad I had posted on ebay the number they are calling from is 702-990-7883, they left a message and were actually claiming they were from ebay and could sell my item or items for me, blah blah blah. Like the other person on here said, why would I do that??? Duh!!! I called ebay just to let them know that I have the information on these people, thanks to you helpful folks on here, and thought ebay might want to know that they are claiming to be from ebay, NOPE! They put me on hold for about 15 minutes, then came back and said to ignore the calls and don't worry about it... Or, she said, I could call the police??? What are they gonna do???However, if they send me an email to go ahead and turn it in to ebay, but just calling me, off of an add and saying they are from ebay... well there was nothing they could do about it and weren't interested in the information I had, wow. LOL, what a joke! I did go to the do not call site and reported them, but it says on there that they don't help each individual, it just helps them to collect information and evidentally they need a lot of reports for them to be able to do anything about it, so I suggest as others on here do, REPORT REPORT REPORT.

Receive calls a couple of times per day, it's always a recorded message stating that they can help me sell my car.

Yep, filed an FCC complaint. I would recommend every one do the same. It's just takes a minute and if enough people submit complaints, it may eventually help.

twice in 22 hours.  The 1st one was 702-685-9821, the second was 702-990-7883.  From a deleted craigslist posting.  WOW, I actually forgot what***** these people put us through back in "their" day!  Your best attack is to do the report with https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.  I just filed my 2 complaints - feels good to have some control.

They had called me as well, I posted a car on craigslist. So i tried them out and I have to say that they are advertising it and answer all my questions. Try them out.

Put my Motor Home on Cragislist yes****ay and got a call from this number on my cell phone; no voicemail. These kinds of people are totally useless parasites and should all be put to *****, so the rest of us can live in peace.

I listed my car on craig's list and autotrader and just dodged a call from these guys.  To try and prevent further calls, I called the phone # back and the company was so****ing like Western Auto Sales.  I asked them to put me on the do not call list and was told it would be done immediately.  Just a thought, if you call THEM, you can avoid the sales s***ch and just get on the DNC list.

I just put my car on autotrader.com as well and am receiving calls from this number.

advertised car for sale on craigs list, they call and want to sale car for a 500 fee - we're in north carolina and they're calling from Nevada - they want a credit card # immediately - no way are we paying them for so****ing that is free, or giving them a credit card # they would use anyway they wish, and they're calling a***nst craigs list rules - no commercial interests - just **** up and sale locally at no expense to you

I received a call today - Friday Aug 22, 2008, 2:52 PM - from the same  1-702-990-7883 number. I didn't pick up, but the voicemail was from this company trying to solicit my business. My phone number is already registered on the Do-Not-Call registry, so this company is probably breaking the law. And, yes, I registered a car for sale on AutoTrader yes****ay. Perhaps as surprising as the fact that I got this uninvited solicitation is the fact that Autotrader doesn't seem to care one bit about this. I called 866-288-6872 -- the number for autotrader.com - and spoke with a customer "care" representative. I was shocked that AutoTrader.com representative didn't care one bit about this - she simply said that anyone can call a number and they can't control who calls. Really? I'm sure Autotrader's terms don't allow other companies to attempt to steal Autotrader's customers. In additon, this would clearly deter people from listing with Autotrader in the first place - if they knew they would get "spammed" with phone calls from other companies that aren't serious about buying a car. You would think that Autotrader would send a Cease & Desist order, but they apparently don't care.

Called my cell phone too.  Number is listed to a line in Las Vegas, NV.  I live in Michigan, so I'm not sure of the connection.  My number isn't listed online.

Called me twice, even after I pressed 9 to be removed from the first time.Currently have posts for a car on Craigs list & Autotrader.
