Does not stop calling. Very tired of this caller!!! And, tired of the phone constantly ringing. One call after another. And, this caller calls everyday. Leave us alone.

We have received multiple calls per week for more than a year from 703-574-4450 . Reverse phone look up reports a business in Sterling ******ia. Frequently have more than one per day. Never leaves a message. When answered (we have done that twice in the past year, the second time by accident) we simply hear some one breathing (not heavy breathing, but it is obvious that some one is on the line) who does not answer our words. Last Sa****ay had 6. Have had at least 13 in the last 6 days. Have had this number blocked on our phone for at least three months (rings once, caller ID is recognized by our phone and phone ****s up automatically)­. Call volume has increased significantly since then. Others have identified the true source as Meyer Teleservices at 1-800-676-9233 ­. We called that number and asked that our name be placed on its do-not-call list. I suspect my request will be honored. Apparently the company's business plan is to make as many calls as fast as possible - blocking your number simply makes it faster for the operator to make a technically complete call (it was answered, since there was a ****-up, rather than busy, so the operator does not have to wait or **** up himself). If the phone is answered, the operator stays silent so the person called will **** up quicker. I suspect that this company's business plan is to market its services, at a very low rate per call, to relatively unsophisticate­d political and non-profit organizations who do not realize that they are being taken for a ride. If the calls are for political and non-profit campaigns, the company is not subject to the heavy financial penalties for ignoring the do-not-call list. Then I hope they call me a***n. I will nail them with a violation of the law.

At least twice a day or more.  I have used the "do not call" option at the Meyer website but they insisted on getting an email address -- what, so they can hassle me via email?  Ha!  I gave them [email protected].  I'm an active voter, but I've always told the party NOT TO TELEPHONE ME.

Caller would not leave message after being told husband was at work.

I get calls and they never leave a message.

I've been receiving calls at least once a day, sometimes more, for weeks.  Caller ID says "UNKNOWN NAME" -- caller never leaves a message.

Phoned me today about noon. No message left. I, too, am on the no call list. I wish no calls could be made without a name and number attached. After reading all of the complaints, I presume this is a telemarketing firm. I wish the FTC would put them out of business! Before I had caller ID, all of the ****-up calls frightened me. Now they mostly annoy me!!

He then proceeded to give the number to the Hillsboro County supervisor and told me to call them if I do not receive my ballot in the next few days. He also gave me the contact number for the Obama get out the vote organization 1-877-FLOBAMA. This is all very odd because I reside in ******IA!! I will be reporting the su****ious case to the local election authorities. Go McCain/Palin

Caller ID shows: "Call Center, VA" and ****s up after three rings. Picking up the phone before three rings results in ***ody on the line.

As indicated by others (which I found from my internet search), I have been receiving many calls from this phone number. They never leave a message, but cause me to run to the phone. They **** up after 3 rings.

This is a consultant working on behalf of a political party I suspect it is a boilerroom op w. auto dialing. The marketers can't shut off their phones w/o clocking out so they just **** up.

I get these calls also.  Never anyone on the other end when I pick up.  So I called it back using an anonymous VoIP connection and it is a consultant for political candidates.

Maybe talking to 7 on your side or some local tv network could solve this. There must be some law/legislation that can stop the constant calls so many times a day.

I get a call every day around 7:30pm.  No one says a word.  Then they **** up.

They've called 5x in past 2 weeks (June, 2008), which we know via caller ID. When I picked up the 5th time, caller was soliciting money for unknown charity; said "We don't have a caller list" and ***g up, when I asked to be removed. Pretty annoying.

The first time I got a call they said it was the Fraternal Order of Police, so I marked it as telemarketer I did not answer today.

I called the number back and it was a recording.  Mayer****ociates.  It says you can call back during business hours to be removed or go to www.callmayer.com.  I did this and hit the REMOVE ME LINK and it did nothinng (that I could tell).  Good luck

We've also received multiple calls from this number - Meyer and****ociates - who call "on behalf" of political and n/p organizations.  We hate these calls and if anything because they are so frequent they ensure our voting for the opposition or striking this charity from our list.
