Same call - automated message telling me there was a problem with my debit card from a San Diego bank.

Debit card scam. Called my cell phone, which my bank does not have, saying there was a security problem with my debit card. Local 4 ***nch bank no where near the 708 area code.

Phone call from a bank stating I had a debit card problem and they could rectify the problem if I put in my debit card number. I ***g up.

This number called representing a local bank regarding my debit/credit card. It was an automated message and I ***g up as soon as I realized what information they were asking for. Its memorial day weekend on Sunday.

They called representing a local bank in San Diego and requested our check card number, exp. date and PIN number. The bank confirmed they did not originate the call and canceled the check card immediately.
