No good reason to get a call from Charlotte NC

Scam artist won't leave a message

MrMizzle I just received a call from this number: 704-527-8635. The person on the line politely notified me that my paper automatically renewed two months ago and that I owed the retroactive balance of thirty-so****ing dollars. Mind you, the number was not a local phone number -- so, when I told him that I would not be paying ANYTHING over the telephone -- especially not for someone who called me... he immediately said that he'll turn the matter over to the unpaid claims department, attempting to frighten me into paying. No luck -- scam man! While I know to NEVER give any personal info to an unknown caller, this guy seemed very well rehe****d in his presentation and was very polite in rejection (he even wished me a happy holidays) -- and I'm sure that he is successful in scamming some people. Don't let it be you!!!

Subscription service. The Commercial Appeal out of Memphis and probably many others.

Called evening...wrong number, but also called same day in the morning.

I got several calls from this number and when I call it back I get the busy tone as well.

Same here about the constant calls--although I get them from numerous 704 area code numbers.  I finally decided to answer so I could tell them to put me on the Do Not Call list (I'm already on the federal "Registry", so WTH?) and it ***g up.  I have no idea how they got my mobile number, but luckily I have a blacklist program to put each number on.  But what a pain--they just get around it by calling from various numbers.

Shamara The first several times I was called, I didn't answer, but no one ever left me a message. I don't like answering phone calls when I don't recognize the number. After being annoyed with my phone constantly ringing, I went ahead and answered it. It was someone calling on behalf of my local newspaper. I had cancelled my subscription, and he wanted to know why (was it due to bad service, moving, etc.) I answered his questions and the conversation was done in 43 seconds. I also received calls from (704) 523-5872, (704) 527-8685, and (704) 523-7362. Since I answered the last call, I have received anymore, so I'm****uming these all originate with the same company.

They have called me four times the past two days, do not leave messages

Who is this? I keep getting their calls but, Im not answer cause they never leave messages!
