called them back and got a answer ma****e.  It sounded like a young man who had just woke up for a *****en night.  I'm not calling them back.  The messages said to leave a message.  I think not! If this is a collection agency they need to get a real person to call and at least have a decent message if you call back.  How unprofessional!

Called them back. They are (now or always were) a collection agency in Athens, GA.

I've gotten about 6 calls from these jokers.  Finally, I called them today (long distance for me) and informed them that I am on the "do not call registry."  He refused to tell me what this was concerning, refused to identify (even in the broadest of terms) what the nature of his business is/was.  I told him that I would report him to the do not call registry as harrassing me and was shouted at.  At that pointed, I ***g up.  Interesting note--on the caller ID it came up as a totally different number--706-247-8394 which lists as a cell phone for the area.  I think (just from the ca*** nature of why he would not tell me what he did) that they are bill collectors or some sort of private detective.  Who knows.  I do plan to report them, though.

They called my number and wanted some one named Fred, the next time when I picked up they was no one there I was one holded and on my cell,so I ***g up

I received a call from this phone 1-706-357-9142.  She left a message for me to call regarding case number 490313.  I returned the call with (long distance) charges.  Candy answered the phone.  I was not about to leave my number there for her to return the call a***n while I was away.  I belong to the "Do Not Call" list and do not wish to received this type of calls.  The number that called was 706-357-9130.
