I got this phone call also, but it was on my answering ma****e, and was very threatening. Other than saying if I didn't call the number back, legal action would be taken. No identification was given, and the caller did not ask for anyone by name. I called back to find out what it was about, and got a recording that the caller was not accepting calls at this time. Then I checked here, and was relieved to see that others are getting the same call. A very threatening message

Man threatening, but like Rob said, did not leave a name. He asked me my name to confirm the "federal indictment" (let me say I'm as by the book as them come -- my kids kid with me saying I'm a nerd". I wouldn't give my name stating it was probably a wrong number. He became very agitated and threatened and throughout the phone call kept threatening to send police to my house and arrest me right now. Called accountant from the other line and he said the IRS would not call you. It is definitely a scam. Man kept threatening once I ***g up he was filing papers and I would be arrested. I ***g up.

Absolutely a scam call... it sounds threatening. I returned the call, lots of noise in the background, he said he couldn't hear me. I don't know what they are trying to scam about, but he ***g up on me.

This phone call made no sense to me. 1st no name was mentioned or addressed. The call came as a threat call back or else. No government office behaves this way. They must provide specifics including case numbers etc.. This call is an obvious fraud!! They gave the name Dennis Grey or Dennis Cray it was unclear

Seriously bad call. Claimed to be from the US Treasury and threatened legal action.
