got the same call today but caller id says prize card services

I'm in Tucson, AZ and got a call from Mitchell Communications, 708-856-0777.When I said*****o, man said "sorry, I called the wrong number" and ***g up.(Usually, I don't answer if I don't recognize number but I have relatives with 708 area code).

This same place called us at 8:43 on a Sunday morning.  If I could have reached through that phone...;-(Caller ID is Mitchells Comm at 708-248-7092.

Hi I have been getting these call for weeks now.  They are coming from 708-248-6556.  Everytime I pick up the phone  and say*****o, they say wrong number and slam the phone down.  I tried *69, and it will not go thru, so I manually called them and like others, I got no-one but a voicemail system.  Who are these people?  I am sick and tired of getting these phone calls.  I am from *****chusetts and the calls are coming from Illinois.  HELP !!!!!

Have gotten 3-4 calls from Patrick.  My husband answered the phone the last time and told him to quit calling here.  He just called and left another message!  Caller ID is Mitchells Comm at 708-248-7092.

Same David with same message and same call-back number (1-877-279-3457 ext. 243) today. I'm in the Seattle area.

Got a call from this number just now. This time it was David. Also from Mitchell Communications. Same message the rest of you received otherwise. He made numerous attempts to get a hold of me (which he hasn't) and that I won so****ing - didn't pay attention because I was reading all the previous posts on here while listening to the message! Anyway, pretty sure this is a fake, since the same number is calling people for the same thing - but so far it's 3 different men and 2 businesses! I don't need a new car anyway! I love the one I have! Get a call from 708-856-0777, don't call them back!

Same call from Patrick, asked to call back to 877-279-3457 x243call was placed from 708-856-0202.  It is true that he has called me before, I think.So I've decided to phone back.  I phoned back and left a message.But I'm thinking that if it were true that as the says "an entry form was entered in my name"and if I had really won a car, he would give me more details.  Like exactly where the entry was placedand what organization he is from.

Received a call from Patrick asking me to call backas my name has been pulled to win a new car.  Phone number is708-833-8481.

I got the call from Patrick today, the phone number on caller ID read Mitchell Communication 708-833-8481. Same exact verbiage and call back number.

Wow, I won so****ing for a contest I entered within 4 -6 months. Thanks Patrick. I'll get back to you in 2-3 years. sorry can't be more specific than that.

I got the same exact spheal from a guy named Patrick today. I don't usually enter contests and even if I did, I would never leave my home number... mostly because I can never remember it! The caller ID says Mitchel Communication Group. I Googled it and it's a PR firm I think. My callback number was 877-279-3457 also but the extension was 243. I'm not calling it either, def seems fishy!Oh, i live in Mass too.

I get the same call as Jamie above, from the same person, Tony--call back # 877 279-3457 x109,but my caller id says Mitchell's Commu., (708) 856-0777.  I've gotten several callsin the past few months; each time he says "I've been trying to contact you about anentry you filled out...this is not a sales or cold call...I'm worried that you won't get your prize..."Its a bunch of baloney!I'm not going to call back, I'm going to report it to a consumer protection agency.I live in FL, by the way

I've gotten the same message today from Tony.  When I looked up the caller id number on my phone (708-833-8662) It's a personal name and address from IL.  I'm not calling them back!I'm thinking that they are saying the Providence Civic Center????  I'm in *****chusetts so that makes sense to me....but I haven't been there in ages!

I got a similar message.  On 1/17/10 sometime between 4 and 4:15pm. I thought it might be a female voice. It says "Hi this is toni calling from the process civ?? center. I have made numerous attempts to reach you regarding your entry form that was filled out in your name within the last 12 to 18 to win a new car. This will be my final atempt to notify you that your name was pulled as a winner.  And we're going to award it to one of our top four major prizes. it would be in your best interest to give me a call back as soon as possilbe.  my number is toll free at 1-877-279-3457 extension 109. we're not a telemarketing agency or a time share and this is not a cold call.  so, please do not ignore this message. I'm very aware of the do not call list so I wouldn't be calling unless you actually entered. This is a time sensitive matter. I do look forward to hearing from you.  Once a***n, congratulations, this is Toni."

I also got the same message.. Sounds like red flags to me.

I just got this same message with the same call back number. When you call the number, it does not allow you to enter the 109 extension; Instead, it goes to 'ext 100' voice mail.

said his name Tony and that he is calling because I filled out an entry in the last 18 months and have won a car.  I don't remember doing so.  The number on the caller id 1-708-856-0777 He said to give him a call 1-877-279-3457 ext 109. Looking up on line it says it is a number from an ALFEDO CAVAZOS in Chicago Heights, IL?
