I got the same thing "I'm sorry I got the wrong number". I have looked on other posts and it seem that the "wrong number" answer is for males and the "you won a car" answer is for females. Definitely a con!
got the same call today but caller id says prize card services
Its for real, just called them back and all I have to do is sit in a program of some sort and give my opinion and look at a bunch of brochures and commit to buying a bunch of stuff, pay the taxes on the car up front and drive have-ways across the country and sit in another seminar or two, pay for some more stuff I don't want, buy one or two timeshares and then I get entered into a drawing that they will announce the winner in 2013 and I could actually win the car or a coffee**** if I'm lucky. A***n this is just tooooooooo good to be true. I NEVER win anything. This is going to be the BEST CHRISTMAS ever. I can't wait to tell the wife after I get back from the seminars. I'm spending my last $200 in our savings account so I can get my wife the present she deserves!!!!! A NEW CAR........................
PRANK CALL HER!
I have been getting these calls for about a week now. I am being notified that I have been chosen as a winner for one of four top prizes because I filled out some kind of drawing information to win a car. I have never done this!!!!!!! But isn't it amazing that I have been chosen because I filled out so****ing but the caller doesn't know my name nor does the caller ever call me by my name. This is a recorded message it is not a person. The call back number is a different number (877-279-3457), same as one of the previous posts. The caller's name is Patrick also the same as one of the previous posts. If you have caller ID I would suggest you just not answer the call. If a message is left DELETE!!!!! It's annoying but apparently nothing can stop these kind of calls. I report each and every one of these calls to the FTC.
Pam Call shows as Illinois call, but when call back, it says number not in service.
