A lady named Elsa Simpson called me from this number claiming to be from Amazon Security. She had me install the Team Viewer app and then connected to my phone using Team Viewer. She had me do other things on phone & Amazon account and then told me I needed to "confirm my bank accounts and cards haven't been charged $799.99" I told her I would check on a different device, not iPhone I was on. She insisted the only way to secure my accounts would be if I were to do so with Team Viewer running. Team Viewer is a good app, it allows a support team to fix issues on your device / computer / phone when there are problems. However, I believe Elsa is using it to capture bank account names, logins, passwords by fooling people that will login while it's running. Thank goodness I didn't fall for it! I called Elsa back at this number - (712) 201-1114, and she answered "Hello" not "Amazon Security" as a true business would do. I'm entering these comments for you and will be reporting this to Amazon, the BBB, my State Attorney General's office. BEWARE THIS NUMBER!!
