They said my credit card paying for my subscription expired and gave me the last 4 digits of my Amex card, which is how I knew it was fraud - the last 4 numbers didn't sound like Amex and I don't have an Amex card.

Caller left message asking for a return call for employment verification, requesting employee name and social security number. Big red flag as I have never been asked for anyone's SSN to verify employer. Likely scam.
