Leave a CommentYes, it is (according to the person on the phone) a insurance product partner of B of A. The lady was pretty rude and pushy. I told her to just mail me the info and she was insisting on telling me about it over the phone first. She talked about a payment that could be added to your mortgage (or so****ing like that). When she asked if she had my authorization for those charges I replied, "of course not". She got irritated by my answer and gave me their number without a chance for me to right it down and before I could tell her to please remove me from their calling list her ruse a** ***g up. So... Their a**es are going on my spam list!
Thanks so much for your info! I just called BOA and they took my info and said the calls would stop! I hope they do! Thanks a***n!
I've received calls from this 714-551-5579 number all week; the caller ID reads Bank of America. I finally answered it today, and was told that it was a call on behalf of a BofA service called "Health Protector Plus.'' I kept the caller on the line long enough to look up the service on BofA's website, and it's not there, of course. The caller had some of my personal contact information. When the caller asked for my date of birth, I ***g up.Is asking BofA to remove me from these lists really as much of a hassle as some of the messages above make them sound?
Got a call from this number today, 714-551-5579. They asked for me and then ***g up. I called BofA to inquire as to why they would be calling me. They confirmed that it is from a BofA Insurance partner, although she couldn't explain the odd and rude behavior. She put my name and number on their internal Do Not Call list.

That you for the information. I found it very helpful. They have called my Mothers line about 3 times that I can remember. Too Bad that Bank Of America has choosen to partner with a company that has to "S****" thier caller in to show as "Cellular Call", which is how these calls received have been showing up on mothers phone.
Caller ID: Cellular CallNumber Shown: 714-551-5579No message is left. About the third time this has happened. Due to callers like this, we have to screen all calls, all the time.
call at 7:35pm NEVER had an account with themi do not answer these calls but they leave no message on dnc listcaller complaint .com says this is a s****ed # so even though it is reported to the FTC these ******s just keep c****ing the #'s they use so it is hard to get them to stopthey call at different times to see if you answer the phone so they can get a patten as to when they can best reach you i would never use their opt out option as they keep c****ing their #'s
714-551-5579 called us at 8:07 am on 23 Mar 2010 and 805-309-5551 called us twice on Mar 11. No time was anyone on the line. Their Auto-dialer is driving us nuts, since we are trying to contact a real person (who speaks English) at BOA without success. This is interesting since the calls s****ed after we had to file a complaint about BOA, they have problems posting our payments to our account. Thanks to Judy in OK for the web site, I filled out the form and we'll see where that goes. I don't have a lot of confidence they know how to use a web site, since they have problems posting accounts.
These are calls from Bank of America & it's legitimate (but ******) insurance product partners. There's a BOA privacy website you can access to opt out of these telemarketing calls: www.bankofamerica.com/privacy/ Under the Set Your Privacy Preferences heading, click on Set Your Preferences and follow their directions. ORYou can also CALL their privacy line at 1-888-341-5000, which is what I did. There's a 2-step process to stop these calls. 1-They'll opt your phone number out of any BOA marketing. 2-Then they'll connect you with their insurance products number: you enter your phone number and it automatically opts you out of their insurance partner marketing. They****ured me that there were no other partner marketing numbers to opt out of, so these two should do it.FYI:BOA explained the reason why no one is on the line with so many of these telemarketing calls: it's an automatic dialer. If a sales rep happens to have an open line when your number is called, they're connected with you. If there's no available rep at that time, you get the click and the ****-up experience, and your number is recycled in their system to dial a***n later. The latest BOA number that called me was 714-551-5579. Some of the insurance partner numbers that have harrassed me in the last 2 months are:888-665-9900, 405-285-0754, 405-285-0551, 402-982-0584. Some come up as Farmers Insurance on Caller ID, some come up as Insurance Services ... they're all connected.
Received a phone call from Bank of America (on caller ID). They ask for me and ***g up after I told them it was me. What's goin on.
They have been calling frequently but leave no message. When you pick up the phone, they don't respond.
I constantly get calls from 714-551-5579. They wont leave a message or when you do answer they wont answer back then tey **** up.Im getting tired of this.I do have a account with bak of america this keeps up.I will drop them.
They call my house phone but leave no message. If it was important they'd leave a message...RIGHT If you are on the National DO NOT CALL LIST why are they calling?

It's definitely Bank Of America, and yes they don't leave a voicemail or anything useful. But I have found out that you can stop them from calling using this page:http://www.bankofamerica.com/privacy/
looking for my mom .
Caller ID says Bank of America. Don't know why they would call us since we don't have anything to do with Bank of America. My mother does, and I'm her beneficiary, but if they needed so****ing to do with that, you'd think they would leave a msg. on answering ma****e. Think I'll answer next time and if they're trying to send so****ing, I'll inform them I'm on the national Do Not Call Registry, then report them to the FCC at fcc.gov!
Call on house phone. Didn't answer.
