I received a call today for a ( lower interest rate) solicitation call. The man " David Jonas" claimed he could lower my VISA & AMEX interest rate. I asked him how he had my information?. He stated that he was calling from my visa company and asked for my last 4 digits of my card and he could tell me my balance. Reluctantly I gave him the last 4 digits. He then pulled up my amex balance amount- I was shocked as he stated he was calling from VISA. I explained i was at work and I could not continue to speak with him. He asked for a better time. I asked for 5:30 eastern time. The man did call back at the stated time; however I was still at work and unable to answer. He then proceeded to call me 17 times in 15 mins and then when i did answer I asked him why he called me 17x, he denied it. I stated " do not call me a***n, remove me from your list, I am not interested" I disconnected the call. He then proceeded to call me back an additional 5x and when I said*****o he shouted " YOU LOST THAT INTERSTED RATE! I ***g up! He then called me a***n, 6 x left me a voice mail. This is absolutely INSANE.
