Said I owed Capital One credit card from 2008

Knew my last four, kids names, phone numbers, Said I owed money from 23 years ago.

Claims I owe a debt from 10 years ago. When I asked them why I haven't received anything in writing about this they replied that they are not going to send written correspondence forever and that they are still collecting this debt because I waived my statue of limitations on this debt.

Said I owed money for 23 year old credit card. Spoke to Monica. New my work, called my kids phone, address, birthdate and last 4 of my SSN. Said they has judgement and was trying to serve me. weird scam

Claimed Calling regarding a civil suit calling all known relatives of the person and gave birthdate. Said they just needed to provide me the message for him to call with reference number. My phone number is not listed and not given out easily Who knows how they find out birthdays/names/phone numbers

Claims there is an "issuing firm" that will be "forced to make a decision with out my consent" if I don't contact them with a case number. They called from a New Jersey number and give me a California cell number to call. No names of the "firm" or what it is about. Called twice. Scam

Call the number and claims that I owe money from a credit card 21 years ago sounds fishy and is a scam

They claimed to be some sort of firm, calling about a complaint a***nst me. ***uely threatening, saying I needed to take immediate action.

Calls themselves “the issuing firm” and gives you a reference number to call back about complaints made a***nst you.

Speak your name and says a complaint has been filed a***nst you. Threatens action to be taken a***nst you without your consent if you don’t call back.
