This place has been calling me for the last year and has given me a matter of "weeks" that if i didnt pay a debt i would be sued and all that...well to this date i STILL havent been sued...seriously do not listen to these people....they called my parents and i called them and gave them my number so they would quit calling my parents...as soon as i get a summons from the court, then ill worry about any "debt" they say i have otherwise they ain't gettin' one dime from me.

I received a call from R. Lynette Copeland on my cell last week.  They did not leave a message.  God knows how they got my landline number, they then called it over and over.  When I did some research, this firm is hired by online loan companies that are based overseas, they will say some shady stuff to get you to make payments to them.  They are just a collection agency, who have no power to arrest you or even to get local police involved.   Debt matters are handled in court, by law.   Don't let them fool you. They will not arrest you, nor do they have the right to harrass as I have read!

I just filed a report a***nst them with the FTC.  They are a debt collection agency.  They have called me and won't give me info on this alleged debt...they even called my ex-***her-in-law (I have been out of that family for 20 years).  I asked for info regarding this debt and they sent me one sheet of paper not telling me anything...and the first name was wrong.  I have an unusual name and they totally had it wrong.  Then I called them back and asked them to quit calling me....they were rude and told me to pay my bills and they would quit calling.

I too have recieved calls, thing is, I happen to be from NY and currently reside in FL. I learned the hard way by listening to friends and "opinions" online! I ignored these people after a horrible conversation with a Miss Meyers. I took out a payday loan in 2009 and made a few payments through my checking. I do remember them telling me the last 4 account number and my email. They sent letters, long messages often and even called my job! Sad part is, I DID get a judgment for it! Def didnt see it coming and there was nothing I could do about it! I guess being a part of the BBB doesnt mean anything, This attorney Lindsay R. Copeland is licensed in NY and FL! You can go to the NYS bar website and look her up! She is legit and represents an investor that purchases debt, and I guess they can sue on purchased Debt and sue on it when its still in statue! I even tried to dispute it but they had proof through my bank records. Point is Im ****ed I had to deal with these people and they are very rude but it happend to me! Do your homework people and always request a verification of debt. If they can provide it and you look into the actual license of the attorney, take it more serious, I DIDNT and now I owe 3 times as much!!!!!!

I got a call it states user default on the CID, it's a Mr. Stark from L. Ryan Copeland law firm, he stated that if I did not make arrangements today to repay a payday loan he will send the info to my county prosecutor and there could be criminal charges, I looked them up at BBB the rating is an F and there are 10 complaints not counting mine. I wouldn't trust this firm

These people called my little brother and scared him into giving them my work number. Under the guise of me getting sued and/or arrested if he did not comply. This should be criminal, id like to pick u next time i call

Got a call from this number claiming to represent PayDay Loan Yes collection.

Like others listed here, I have gotten numerous calls from this number stating that so and so is calling from the L. Ryan Copeland Law Firm regarding case#.....  They have left a combination of inaudible recorded messages as well as some threatening verbal messages.  To be honest, I am not comfortable returning the call.  Has anyone actually made contact and know what about/ why they are calling?

I received a phone call from these people saying they are from law firm regarding a civil matter. When I returned the message I got some one who asked me if i had a case number, I said no and he asked what phone number Im calling from. I gave them the number they called and they looked me up that way....very fishy. So then I got the guy who left message and he said he's a lawyer and is trying to settle a credit card matter before it goes to court. He had the last 4 of my social and it seemed odd that he asked me to verify it for him..when i didn't he got upset. He said there's two ways we can handle it, 1~ settle wth them now or 2~ go to court....When i told him I have no problem going before a judge and telling them my financial situation he got very annoyed and aggravated. It just didn't make sense to me. So the next day he called a***n and asked if i could do $50 per month and when i said no he ***g up. So thats when I looked up the number and saw all the reports on scams coming from them. I'm just waiting for another call.... the caller ID shows "user default " on phone and then their number.

I got a call too. Its R. Lynette Copeland Attorney from Buffalo NY. IDK why shes calling me either but I used to live in that area about 4 years ago. And we have a new unlisted number here.
