Received phone call from "John Chamberlain" stating he was investigating reports about bounced checks across state lines and I was used as a reference.  He asked if I was _______ and I said I was.  He read off 4 digits and asked that I verify it as the last four of my social security number.  I would not confirm either way.  I asked what the call was concerning after he repeatedly tried to get me to confirm my SSN.  He said it involved a felony charge regarding checks that were bounced across state lines and a***n asked for my social.  I asked why the issue wasn’t being investigated by law enforcement since it involved a federal crime. He then became agitated and said he was trying to help me and I will be charged for this.  The call ended with him saying, “Have a nice day, dumb b***h.”
