Leave a Commentreceived a call/message with a very threatening theme. these are clearly very bad people who prey on the weak or unaware. BEWARE!! P.S. We have no debts to collect.
Company Representative from Monarch Resolutions called and wanted to have my ssn# when I refused she was anger and would not say what true nature of the call was I believe this to be fraud and strong arm tact tics to force money from customer accounts unwarranted
I got a call from 716-332-1894 - a company named Monarch Resolutions. Had 4 payday loans of mine that I owe money to. Said I had to send almost $4,000 to pay them off including fees and I had to send it within 48 hours. Would not send me paperwork. Did identify the companies. However, when I mentioned getting an attorney to call them as I was told they would not set up payment arrangements - she got very angry and kept talking over me telling me that I would be reported to ChexSmart who would alert my bank that I am a risk and close my account and report me to the IRS who would serve me with a 1099-C form, and that if I did not pay - my case would remain in sue status. I tried to inquire what would happen next and would not get a straight answer. She got very mad at me as I continued to ask questions and said that by mentioning I would like to have an attorney handle this for me I was saying I did not want to pay and there would be repercussions. Don't they have to send me somthing in writing? I called the original payday loan company and they said they had sold the loan to a company called ICollect. I just want to know what my options are.
