My ***her recieved a call from this collector stating i was going to face felony charges, In a panic i contacted this company and this is not a legit thing. THIS IS A SCAM i have contacted the BBB. DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY MONEY!!

Mr James Reed called me yes****ay, 10/12/2010 2 approximately 4:15p threatening civil and criminal. I asked him to send me his credentials and sends me letterhead with his acusations. I asked him to send me the name and number of the company, BMG Financials, that is bringing this accusation. I searched the Yellow Pages but no company by that name. I called an attorney in the city that he stated he was located, they have never heard of the company. The attorney office he claimed to be at was a UPS Store, which I found a location, picture of and address equal to his address. Before making any payments, I screen**** the location and sent it him today, 10/13/2010, because he gave 24 hours, 4:15p, to make arrangements and pay before they proceeded the court docs. He never responded back. I sent the screen**** at 3:15pm. Its 5p and still no word from him.

I received a call from Mr. Reed also. i thought it was a scam when he told me why he was calling. But then i got served court papers 3 weeks ago and my attorney told me that mr reed was an attorney for bmg financial one of the major lending companies. Now my attorney told me i should have resolved it before it got this far now i have to go to court for it. also they sent a copy of the bank transaction to my attorney that shows the transaction that took place.  With this do***entation and the fact that they tried to resolve it with me out of court, my attorney told me im pretty much *****ed and says he hope they will settle with me. Now this is going to cost me 5 times as much.

This guy james reed just called me & my husband today and i not only recorded the conversation but we got his name & phone no. We have NOT made a payment yet and from the looks of what i am finding online, I WILL NOT make a payment to this James Reed Person! They said I have a charge for check fraud AND that i would be locked up if nothing was paid in 72 hours. I never recieved anything in the mail pertaining to such an incident!  I knew so****ing sounded funny when he said that i would have to pay $1,200.00 back in monthly installments of $100.00 and that we would only recieve a reciept in the mail of payment and nothing else! My husband is a lawyer and he did the research and w***ver this person is, he is not listed by the Office of Court Administration, as being an attorney in the State of New York. Also, sear****g on google & yellow pages, there is nothing!!!!!!

Have received calls from this number claiming they are from an attorney's office.  No attorney listed under the name they gave me.

Received a phone call from this number. No message left.
