Debt collector

on 10/28/2010 my cousin recieved several phone calls from 8778082405 ext 113mr, tim was his name he said that he was from tombell a**. i asked what thisd was regarding. he said that he could not diclose iany information until he was able to get a routing number of a credit card number, i have never delt with any collectors and im only 22. he said that we needed to resolve this matter immediately and that if i didnt not have a routing number to him by the 30 this would then go to court and i would then have to pay lawyer fees and the court cost as well what i owe, he said that my checks would be garnished i simply told him i got to school full time and i am not working i have two kids and i do not recieve any support from there ***her.i siad that i get 300 coming on the 3rd and he said we can do a settlemet for 307 , he then said well im going to need a routing number in order to process that i told him i do not have a bank account and that i would have to ask my boyfriend if i could us his account,i told him that it would not be able to come out of the bank until the 3rd. well i told him i would call him back well a cuople of hours later he calls and says well if u give me a debit card number i can relase the information ,,,,thinking to myself well i need to know what this is and why like i said i dont have a bank account but when i used to work at my old job they gave us a card to have our checks go to so i said theres one thing no money on the card,,he said that fine well i give him the card number and he gives me this 8 digit number didnt say what the number was well he said that it was a check from bank of america that i used at advacnced america and that if i didnt reslove this matter that it would be worst on me i asked if i could go to jail and he said no but he said that my wages would be garnished..well on the 29 which was a friday he never called sa****ay he called and left a voice mail, saying that i needed to call him back and if i dont problems will only be worst for me...well monday comes and i get a phone call form the 7165687218 it was a lady this time i didnt catch her name but she said that tehy tried my card and it was declined she said that they tried it on the 30 and today which was the 1st of novemeber!i said well for one thing yall should have never ran the **** card it was not supposed to come out until the 3rd she said oh well we need a routing number trying to avoid the situition!!!!well i said ill call you back in 30 mins,,well i called my friend and she siad that it sounds that a scam and thinking about  it it all does...so i go to advanced america which is a pay day loan and they said that i shoukld be getting aclls from an 800 number and that it sounds like a scam ....well the lady calls back and s****s asking me how i will pay for this i said im going to see if i can borrow money from family,,,,then she s****s asking questions like well im going to look up and see if u have any open bank accouts i said well i dont then she puts me on hold and she said well i see that you have one open but i cant see what bank it is i said well thats news to me then she said that my story sounds untsable and that the whole time we were talking i was being recroded this was 10 mins into our conversation well i then asked who takes the money she said well hold on so i get transfered to soemone else they say it is integerity management and that they didnt not read the memo not to try the card until the 3rd!!i said oh well i wont be giving anyone a rounting number until the 3rd!1i said yall would have f***ed me my boyfriend and my kids we would not have had anymoney !!i hope this never happens to anyone plz dont give your maoney out unless u have proof that you owe it!!!they didnt get me but i didnt know anything about the process that should be taking  but anythime they say they need a routing number or credit card number **** up!!!!!1

I also got a call today saying this was a formal notice.  And my immediate attention was required.  I don't have any idea who they are, and to me if you don't say who you are, what person you want I don't call back.  I've only had my number for about a year. And I get these calls all the time.

They left a recorded message saying this was formal notice that there was a matter that demanded my immediate attention. They left an 800 number to call. I called it back and asked what the message was about. The woman identified herself as Miss Smith and asked if I was calling from the same number they had left a message with. I was. She then told me the call was for someone I'd never heard of. I told her we'd just gotten this number, and she removed my number from their call list. Not sure if this is a legitimate law firm or a scam; caller ID said Scott Wheat Law, but the 800 number was answered as Thomas Belloc (sp?) and****ociates.
