I received a a call they used my nieces name shanese and saidto call a 866 number when I tried to call it nothing. It was for a product return of some sort have no idea.

They keep calling me! This is driving me crazy!

Hey there, can you please help me? I got a phone call saying that i was going to be proscecuted by Orange county for a pay day loan 3 years ago.Are these people, Shapiro and Price legit?

I've gotten two calls from this company telling me I had issues with a check I had written from my personal account.  DO NOT CALL THEM!  First of all, if I had any issues with my personal checking account my bank would be the one to call me, not some lawyers office!  Don't fall for this scam.

They were calling under Shapiro and so****ing, so****ing... they are looking for someone who doesn't live here regarding legal matters.  At that time, I reported them to FTC.  The calls stopped.  Now, they apparently c****ed their name and have s****ed calling a***n.  Same phone number but called ID says Hover Networks.

These idiots buy old debts for pennys on the dollar that have already been discharged as uncollectable from Pay Day Loan Places & Sears & Phone Companys & other places.DONT EVER AGREE OR SIGN ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE IF YOU DO IT WILL >>>>> RES**** THE CLOCK ON THE DEBT & YOU WILL LEGALLY OWE THEM THE MONEY FOR THE DEBT <<<...THEY CAN DO NOTHING SO FEEL FREE TO BE RUDE TO THESE PEOPLE & DISH THE TREATMENT BACK ON THEM IF THEY GET SNOTTY WITH YOU.

My bf keeps getting the same number. He called it back once and it was a recording with the same info as comments above. This is awful they call all of the time. I'm reporting it to www.donotcall.gov maybe if we all do this, it will stop!

Keep getting this phone call from these folks who always have an automated voice trying to contact someone other than me on my cell phone.  I can not get them to stop.

My husband took out a payday loan through national cash advance close to 3 years ago that we defaulted on, but then payed back through a debt consolidation company. This is the only one that has ever come back on us. We got a lawyer involved before with this one, and it was found that we had already paid it, and then was sent on to this company. We are also in the process of filing for bankruptcy so we threw it in our bankruptcy to make sure it was all covered. Then we s****ed getting automated calls from this company, which escalated to voice mails from a live person last week, and a call to my husbands parents in which the woman told his mom that he had a court date set, and that he would go to jail. They left us a threatening voicemail which also told us that he was being named as the defendant in a check fraud case. Scared us out of our minds. We called our bankruptcy lawyers and they said that they would call and talk to them, and advised us not to have contact with them. I cannot believe it is legal to threaten people with criminal prosecution just to get them to pay you. We have never recieved anything on paper from this company or the previous company verifing this debt!

Got a call from these people and they had also said they are the FIB the federal identification bureau. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They call my cell phone 10+ times a day once a week.

I am getting same calls, all day long, stating same information as above, they call from different numbers, and the last call stated they were Shapiro and Winters/Price

I got two calls from this number on different days this same week saying that it is about some returned stuff I recently purchased and I should immediately contact them about my checking account and stuff. Its really scary when they use words like "legal matters"

Says private number on caller ID 716-650-5664. Says they are calling concerning a returned item from a bank account and need us to call or have our attorney call. They are a debt collection agency pretending to be a law office. google shapiro and price and do yourself a favor. Avoid them at all costs.Kinda strange considering that they are not an actual law office but claim to be one. They are serious offenders and are going to be turned in to the state bar****ociation as well as the FCC since we are not the party they are looking for and further we have asked several times to be removed from their calling list. Turn these liars in and do your part to bother them as much as they bother all of us.

Received two voicemails saying I need to call a 1800 number. Sounds like a scam.

Same call. Scam. I have excellent credit I owe them nothing.

Get recorded messages from someone from Shapiro and Price then its Shapiro and Caster, not only here at home but at work also and the messages are sometimes automated sometimes a real person.   It is concerning a past debt and I need to call them back or have my attorney of record call them.  They do not send any do***entation when I asked them to and when I tell them that the New York Bar****ociation has no record of a Shapiro and Price law firm they get angry and tell me I have not checked on that, when I say I did, I **** up.  They stop calling for 2-3 months then do it a***n.

Got a call today from these people.  They told me immediately that they were going to prosecute me for a charge I had back in 2007.   Would not tell me who from.  Need my SS# and were very rude.  I told them to mail me so****ing and said goodbye.  They called back about 5 times in a row being very rude and screaming on the phone.   I called my local police station and filed a report.SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recorded message from the office of Shapiro and Price telling me they have repeately tried to contact me regarding money owed. I should contact them by end of day or have my attorney contact them or they will use other means neccessary to collect. Have googled this company and it doesn't exist and the phone number has a mul***ude of scam complaints.

THIS IS A SCAM!  Shapiro and Price.  Got a call yes****ay and another today.  It is a recorded threat that they have tried to contact me and I didn't call back so they are going to pursue other legal options to collect their money from my personal bank account.  I'm to call back or have my attorney call back by the end of the day today (gee, or was that yes****ay)  (I get the same message every day).  Call back number is 877-228-1217.  I'm calling the phone company today and blocking numbers as well as turning this information over to the FBI. Shapiro and Price - YOU ARE BUSTED!!!!
