I would say that 90% of the calls you get from a 716 area code, will be collection calls. Buffalo NY is collection HQ for some reason.

Never call an 800 number ❗️ The owner of that number has the right to capture your number.

I get calls at all hours from this number.  When I pick my phone up, there is ***ody there.  When I call back, they say all circuits are busy.  His calls harass me at all hours of the day and night. If I find out who is behind it, I will sue him after I have him arrested for harassment charges. It is too bad the police have not arrested these criminals/*********s before now.

I recieve a call from this number on my cell phone almost daily at 8:00 pm.

I keep getting a call from this number which is not for me its the wrong number that they are calling when I atell this that its a wrong number the person gets hostel then when I call the number back for a supervisor I can't get an answer

800 466 5259 is the number they gave me to call them back when i listened to my voice mail..I get calls probably 4 times a week and they ask for the head of household, I am 14 and i dont care about this ****** call what should i do to stop it

I had same thing happening.. I have been getting calls from this number on my cell phone like many others here.  I registered my cell phone w/ the National DO NOT CALL Registry, so I shouldn't be getting these kinds of calls--especially on my cell phone, which is not a number I give out except to friends/family.  I just filed an online complaint w/ the do not call registry.  If you haven't registered your phone number, you should--even though the government says it isn't necessary, that telemarketers CAN'T get your cell phone number.  YEAH they can!  Here's the link to file a complaint if your number has been registered for at least 31 days.  Maybe if enough people complain, the calls will stop!  : )https://www.donotcall.gov/Complain/ComplainCheck.aspx

I just got this call randomly from this number for the third time...when I picked up there was not much of interest and I called back to see what it was (the first time they called, they asked if I knew a "Vivian" and when I said no, they said they would remove the number from the list).  To my shock, this time it was for a medical matter...I told them that I didn't know Vivian and they were supposed to have removed my number.  They said they were looking for an Aaron Markovitz (SP).   I explained that I didnt know him either and they said they would remove this number from their list.  When I asked the gentleman what company he represented, he told me it was of little concern, and ***g up!So I just got the call a***n, didn't bother checking voicemail becuase I knew what it would say...Instead I found this website by googling the number...now im shocked and su****ious.

I've been receiving calls on my cellphone from this number for the past week, s****ing last Sunday night.  They never leave a message and when I call back all I get is a fast busy signal.  I answered the call today and and the line immediately went dead.  I read in a previous post that they are a gas/electric collector.  That makes sense since I recently discovered that someone has stolen my iden***y and has been opening up gas service in my name.  My wife and I are dealing with having our iden***y stolen.  It is a complete mess trying to straighten it out, especially if you are busy with a family and have little time outside of work to deal with it.

i will not do the work of a collection agency. they are to lazy to do the leg work necessary to perform their job, be nice and calm as they call you at dinner or when your'e putting the baby to bed. yeah i'll be nice.

I'm sorry, but I disagree.  After being bothered so many times by this number, at all hours of the day, I'm a little too angry to just "be nice and explain calmly" because they are bothering me AT HOME.  They need to verify their information, or at least get a real person to say what they want. I don't have time to correct their faulty paperwork for them.

Chances are that it's a collection agency.  They usually will leave a message with a number, and often the name of the person who they're trying to reach, stating that it's very important to call.  The reason there's no answer when you pick up the phone is that they're automated (on a dialer system) ... and several calls are dialed at the same time.  W***ver answers first, gets the person.  The rest just get dumped back in the system and redialed a***n.  Even if you don't owe money, you'll get these calls, as people often give false info (or old info) when they apply for a loan, or if they're in the hospital, etc. It's rough, but the best thing to do is keep answering, and if you get a person (and it is a collection agency), just calmly explain that there is no one there by the name they're looking for.  They may ask a couple of times, or verify your phone number ... just remember, they're only doing their job, and they're people just like you.  Usually, if you're nice, and explain it calmly, they'll remove your name from the system.  Sometimes it takes a couple of times, but they'll do it.

i missed this call, remembered an email warning and typed this number in my google search and it brought me here. they left no voicemail, when i called it back, my cell one service stated "network busy, try a***n?"  sherri hurd [email protected]

I get calls from this #, like once every week or so.  Seems like it usually calls in the AM.  Last time was 10:04 am on a Tuesday.  Always leaves same voicemail message: "You are now monitoring the integrated dialer." Please help!

I keep getting calls from this number. I'm  called about two to three times a week at different times. I've answered once but the lines goes dead once you pick up. If you let it go to voicemail a recording is left saying you owe on a gas bill. I don't have a gas bill with anyone. I tried to call this number back and you get a fast busy signal. This is very distrubing and I would like for it to stop. I hope someone can get to the bottom of this.

Got a call from this number at around noontime on Sunday.  Was a recording notifying me that I had to call another number during regular business hours for a "very important reason" but there was no explanation what that "very important reason" was and the name of the contact person was unknown to me.  For some several months now, I have been calls from collection agencies for someone I don't know but who apparently had this telephone number before I did.  I have repeatedly told these collection agencies to stop calling me since I'm not the person they are looking for.  Although I have no proof, I****ume this is more of the same.
