Three people I know have received calls from this number claiming that the company wielded control over their car warranties and that they should bring their vehicle in for it's "regularly suggested check-up." It's a total scam because two of those people didn't even have warranties or a loan out on their car for years. I was able to track down the phone number they ask you to call back (***-274-1461), and it belongs to a chain of car dealerships in the area code. All of which use the name Frederick's (EG: Frederick's Chevrolet). http://frederickchevy.com/Default.aspx and http://frederickauto.com/index.htm both list the same phone number that was left by the scam callers in the voicemail.
