Anonymous this is a scam number

unknown caller did not leave a message. called back- just kept ringing. carrier is Onvoy- home of the spammers. what else?

Called twice in succession.... left no message.

Said nothing - just kept calling

Said my boyfriend was in a hospital in RI due to a serious car accident. Was saying his name was Dr. Leo C. Roland and contacted me through a 3rd party app called WhatsApp. Would not tell me the name of the hospital my boyfriend was staying, would not let me visit him and demanded $10k in Bitcoin monies to pay for his bill. Seemed a bit shady so I called the State Troop police barracks here and said that if there was any accident in the state that the nearest barracks would respond. The trooper pulled up his name and could not find an accident report of him and that this was most likely a scam. Said nothing could be done for him and to report the number through the 3rd party app.

second time that number called today and did not leave a message. called back- voice mail asked to press a number to be taken off their call list. Yeah, right.
