Concerned Citizen My husband received a text from this number. The text said…”****o ——- My name is Nick and I buy houses in your area. Open to making a deal for (our address) I’d like to talk to you. are you available this afternoon to go over some more info? “ The reason I’m reporting this…and not only to Been Verified is because I’m worried “Nick” will take advantage of some poor soul that really needs money and be way underpaid for his/her house. I was a realtor and this may be illegal, if not definitely unethical. I called the number and “Nick” actually had a woman that said she took messages for him. I told her that I’m reporting “Nick”. She was a very polite older woman and didn’t realize that she might have been doing something that might hurt others….at least that is what she said. Really?

I actually have no clue if this was a scam, spam, selling or what. When I answered the phone they were speaking spanish and I don't understand enough spanish to know what they were saying. They were speaking (probably normal speed for them) way too fast for me to catch anything. When I said I don't speak that language, they hung up without saying anything further in any language.
