Wow I just got call from this nbr. No one was on the line. Several weeks ago I got 2 calls from them about a subscription & they said they were calling with a lower price renewal. I told them that I did not expire until 2016 & could not afford their renewal rate. They said no problem they would take installments & sent me a bill which I immediately threw away!!!

I have now received 3 phone calls within days and they are claiming to be a magazine co. I corrected their info and said if you do not work for the magazine then I am not saying a word. I told them I will contact the magazine and they confirmed how many years I have on my account and they appreciated me calling them and letting them know.

Received a call from 718-374-6725 asking for my husband when I said he was not available I asked if I could help. They said no you can't and ***g up! Let's see if pick up the phone a***n when I see that number !!!

left no message.

Claimed to be from National Geographic billing department (which we cancelled a while ago because of phone calls like this). Obviously bogus, and he ***g up on me when I pressed him for details. I called back the number listed on caller id and it is "not in service", which suggests that they are s****ing numbers. Remember, there's a lot of bad people out there...

Said they were the billing department for National Geographic which we stopped getting some years ago. Don't trust these people, they're up to nothing good.

Claimed they were from the "Billing Dept" and that I owed payment for an Economist Magazine subscription, which I had stopped receiving years ago. Definitely is a scam.

Company called saying they would like me to renew my magazine subscription and that I sent in a 2 for 1 which I did not. They are scammers. Do not give any info to them or credit card info. They are from NY.

Calls from company attempting to usurp magazine subscriptions. They claimed to be calling from New York magazine's billing department, but they are fraudsters.
