Got two calls saying they are from New York New Birth****ociation and that I won a 'prize' and I just need to pay 12.99 for the 'session'

Charlene I also have been getting calls from this number and many others stating I am being sued for fraud, several company names have been used as well as the names of the people calling.  All of them have Indian accents and basically try to get me to verify my info.  I came accross this article done by ABC news called Fake Debt Collectors Terrify ConsumersAlleged Debt Scam Calls Threaten Consumers: 'Only God Can Help You Now'Please google it and read.  It says alot of the same things I am reading here and seems to stem from Payday loans.  I did not s**** receiving calls until I unsubscribed to receiving emails from these sights.  I did get a loan about 3-4 years ago and paid it back.  More recently I inquired about info but did not get a loan.  I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, federal trade commissison.  Problem is that the company names c****e and the names of the people calling.  The phone numbers are not good and it appears as thought there is not enough info to get anyone with.........

442 Third time today at work no message

ANA I HAD TAKEN AN INTERNETLOAN...BT I DIDNT PAIDBACK...SOTHEY JUZ HELPD MEOUT.I WENT TO THE COURT HOUSE ONCE..IT WAS A VERY HORRIBLE AND HECTIC PROCEDURE....THE DEPT.THEN HELPED ME FROM THAT MESS.THANK YOU

AggieH BEWARE! I received a call from this number 4x today (7/13/10) and the dude posed as an F.B.I agent. He said that my daughter took out a loan and she hadn't paid the balance. The initial loan amt. was $500.00 and now she owes $945.00!! WHAT A CROCK OF S@#$!! Now if anybody receives a call from the NY Civil Dept. of Fraud or the F.B.I. and there's a Quickie Mart employee on the other end of the phone "ITS BULLS##T!!"

soso The same exact people are calling me and threatening me. I've received 3 calls within the last week and they can't speak english. With 3 different phone numbers and when i call back it is a mailbox # that's full or and error so can't leave a message. Also 3 different names claiming to be an officer of some buearu. They are talking about consequences at my work to. Do you know who they are?

vp Kevin Ross From XL pharmacy called promising discounts on medication. This is the second call from this number in a week's time. I asked them to remove me from the caller list. Lets see what happens.

Hardy Gal I received two voice messages at work, stating if i didnt call back legal action would be taken from Michael Adkins. Very thick indian accent, so thick you could barely understand him. he even went as far as dialing my human resources manager and asking her to connect him to me regarding a finance matter-she informed him she could not do that, if i wanted him to call me, he would have my #, and he would need to call me on my own time. I called him back that day-I was given to my "case officer" IVY. told them to NEVER call me at work a***n stating it was law once i told them to stop calling my employer they had to. she told me not to talk LAW to her or she would not help me!. they demanded $583 from me. I never agreed to anything. the next day Michael called my work A***N. then my house the next two days. then my work the following monday. I ***g up the first time, then he called back-I told him i called the police for him harrassing me, and he said he would call me 100 times a day and every legal action would be taken a***nst me if i didnt call back and he ***g up. (a lot of "you owe money talk happened in that first time i talked to them, but this last call really upset me so that is what is important) I looked them up after that first call and I know they are FRAUD, SCAM, extortionist...but how can I stop the calls? they even called my sister in law! Oh, and today the first call was a 312 area code, the second one, seconds later (same guy ) was 972 area code.
