Texted that they had our lost cat. (Had just posted Craigslist ad that morning). Tried to set up a way to get cat back. That’s when they said PayPal or cashapp and I could get the cat. “Trust me, I’ll keep my word “.

Pretending to have found a missing cat and asking for $30 in steam gift cards. Gave a Venmo with name Marion Fuller

Lisa This person texted me at 4 in the morning saying they think they found my missing dog. But I found it very strange that their area code wasn’t local. I did a search on their number and found out it belongs to a scammer. Apparently they’ve done this before to other people who have lost their pets. Then they steal from them by asking for gift cards. I’m so glad I didn’t fall for it and I trusted my gut feeling. This person is disgusting and de****able! Be careful out there.

This person lied about a "found pet" and scammed a desperate pet owner into sending gift cards. There is a special place in***** for them
