I was also ask if I have rec. some Magazines in good condition I ask what magazines and then she ***g up.
Was contacted by a man who insisted I owed him 1200 dollars for a magazine subscription I never ordered, and that I had gone over the 30 day cancellation period. Asked if they were scammers, and he made offended sounds and ***g up. Was a little worried that he was legit because I had signed up for some magazines a while back that needed to be canceled, but then I came here and found out they were full of it. Thanks Guru.
Just got a call from a lady at this number. She had my first and last name and said that she needed to verify my subscription to five magazines that she listed off. I asked where she got my number and she said that I ordered these magazines. I told her that I have not ordered any magazines and wanted to know where she got my name and number. She said she was going to put me on hold and then she ***g up. Seemed like a total scam!
I received a call from a "customer service rep" 1-720-452-0220 M C inquiring about my five magazines. The woman on the phone wanted to know if they are in good condition when received and also asked for my name and age. When I told her I was not comfortable giving out personal information, she ***g up.
Lady called, saying so****ing about a magazine subscription. I told her that i would like her to remove my number from her call list and she said "Well, I would like you to stop giving your number out!" in a very very rude tone. I said goodbye and ***g up on her.
This is a HUGE scam, they pretend they have a current account with you just need to verify your information. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!
These people are scammers trying to get your money. never give out information over the phone. They will take all you have.
So****ing about verifying a magazine subscription and trying to get me to not renew with anyone else. Very ***ue...I didn't give them info but they did have my address. I told them I was not comfortable giving them info over the phone because I have had iden***y theft , they didn't have much else to say. I said I needed to see all of this in print because they couldn't even tell me what magazines we were talking about.
TOTAL SCAM! What's alarming is that I had just s****ed a free trial subscription just over a month ago and it played into their hands. It's almost as if they had known about my recent subscription. They tried saying I was a long time customer and were going to offer me a decreased rate. I pried into the fact that I shouldn't be paying anything... I'm on a free trial for the first 3 mo. To which they returned, "it's free for the first 3 mo, but must be cancelled during the first mo. and they preorder their subscriptions and cancellation would cost $300... After which time I became absolutely IRATE. Before I knew it, I was ranting to myself. They had ***g up. Scary how much they appeared to know.
Definitely a scam. These guys are good and I s****ed to fall for their sceme about updating my information for my magazine subscriptions. When they s****ed to ask for information about my credit card on file I simply said well I dont' even know which one of my magazine subscriptions you are refering to so I don't know what card to be giving you. "Well ma'am didn't my****istant give you all this information?" "No he didn't" "Well then what did he tell you" "He said he needed to update my account information and when I told him I didn't know what magazine he said his supervisor was going to finish the call" CLICK
I received a call from a man who told me that my magazine subscriptions were going to renew and wanted to verify my card information. I never ordered any magazines and I gave him no information. He attempted to validate himself by providing me with the first 4 digits of my card number, but each major credit card company uses their own prefix, so he wasn't telling me anything. Let this be a reminder to everyone: Never provide personal information unless you are certain of who you are speaking with and it is someone you can trust.
I was called from 720-452-0220 and was told I needed to talk to her supervisor for magazine (konekion) publisher, about orders being duplicated and they needed to block my number to avoid duplication.. I was asked to give my credit card info.a***n and also verify my address to mail out a letter confirming my magazines that I can c****e to later if I wish, and what was spoken about. Also, Mr. Anthony Simon, told me that I had paid for my 24 month subscription and wouldn't be billed a***n. I was given a confirmation #370444. To my surprise the next day They had taken out of my debit card $49.98 in the name of Magazine club, at phone # 866-323-1278. I called this number and they were not available, to call back Monday between 9am-6pm NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS SCAMMED ... I WILL TRY TO GET SOME RESOLUTION ..
LEAVE ME ALONE

They kept calling asking for someone who doesn't live at this number. I asked more than once for them to remove me from their list and they still kept calling. I tried calling back and received nothing. The apparently are a telemarketer
