This number is a magicjack (VoIP) number. It's from the Clearwater, Florida area. As to whom it is I am not sure of. Upon my recalling them from my magicjack number I was told that I could not leave a message because there mail box was full. I will now report this to the magicjack company.

I CONTINUE TO GET CALLS FROM THESE STRANGE NUMBERS.  WHAT I DO, IS THAT I KEEP MY ANSEWERING MA****E ON.  THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE OR THEY NEVER GET TO TALK TO ME.  SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE CALLS ARE ALL ABOUT.  HOWEVER, I KNOW THEY'RE BEING PESTS, BUT THAT'S MY WAY OF EXTERMINATING THEM.

I received a strange phone call at 5:02 PM today (11/18/2010). It was a recorded voice asking me to "please hold on while I try to connect you." I held for at least 40 seconds, then got a "beep, beep, beep" sound / disconnect.When I did a reverse phone look-up for the phone number, it showed the number is a land line and unlisted. Apparently, the call was made from somewhere near Drew St. and Cleveland St. in Clearwater, Florida.

they just called, right, charities are exempt. just poor telemarketers. they are unprofessional, uhhhhhh and ahhhh alot. Somebody has to do it ,,unfortunately the police picked a org to do it for them that needs to hire better telemarketers thats all.

i dont know how we can stop these idots from callin i do know i get around 20 calls a day from people tryin to get money so i dont answer my phone any more sometimes idk y i pay for a phone  ythey need to stop

People raising money for charity can call you even if you are on the do not call list. Chairties are excluded from that.

This is from the telemarketing service saying they are collecting for the Florida Sheriffs.  No matter how many times I tell them to stop calling me, they just wait another few days and call a***n.  I think this is harassment.  It's also seems like a very ****** waste of their time (and especially mine!) as I have never donated to any organization over the phone in the 40 years I've had a phone!

I to am on the DNC list for my cell phone but what peopleare forgetting is that these calls are for a donation to someorginization, they R not considered telemarketing calls andthere-fore R not covered under the DNC list.

Called trying to get credit card information for a donation to a statewide sheriff's dept fundraiser. I, too, am on the do not call list

(727) 259-1696 -- I am on the DO NOT CALL registry because I have limited minutes with the cellular plan.  So annoying and unfair.

Calls from this number frequently over the past couple of weeks.  No one ever answers and there is no background noise at all.  I hold the line until it finally disconnects.  I tried to call it back but it went straight to a voicemail that repeats the telephone number. So annoying!
