# calls a minimum of twice per day, every day, including weekends, never leave a message and **** up just before recorder picks up. This appears to be a cell # in Pinellas County, FL (St. Petersburg-Clearwater) but I never answer unknown numbers. Obviously a scam! Caller ID screen only identifies "caller name" as Out-of-Area.

A man from the phone number 727-490-1473 called me this morning offering to buy a piece of land from me that I own in California. He had all the correct information but told me he needed the 4 digit code from the right hand top corner of my American Express card in order to initiate the process of buying my land. I tried to give him the number but was unable to read it as my eyesight is very poor, I am 86 years old. He became extremely impatient & curt with me telling me he was just going to forget the whole thing & I must not need or want the money that badly when I informed him that I couldn't see well enough to read the number to him. I informed my granddaughter of the call upon her arrival at my home & she told me it was a scam of some sort & said she was going to report the number to the proper authorities.

someone named vernon hastings called and said he had someone interested in our property-seemed su****ious. googled the phone number and found this not the same number he gave me but on caller id.
