Anonymous Received a text message today stating $399.99 charge recorded for a transaction I never made! Gave a number to call if any questions. That number appeared with a fraudscan score of 85%,

I'm 95% certain this number is a scam caller, who claims to be "Detective Mahmoud from the Edison Police Department". I have no connection to Edison, or anywhere near there. The other 5% only comes from the fact that ***ody else has filed a report on this profile, so I thought I'd put it out there that it's probably nothing. I always have my phone set on silent for unknown numbers, so if it's truly important, they can leave a message, which is how I got this info. "Det. Mahmoud's" message says, "Hey [insert name here], this is Detective Mahmoud from the Edison Police in New Jersey. If you can, just give me a call back." My gut tells me that if it were an actual call, it wouldn't be this ***ue. If it turns out to be true, he can call back with more info, but if not, I'm blocking the number.

This person texted my husband first and asked for me. (Odd) Then texted me to say “it’s Ben” called number and it was busy

Who

Said my name and phone has been selected for government grants up to $9k and I never have to pay it back ?

First was a voice recording stating su****ious activity with my social security number then a heavily accented man got on the line and asked if I was (my name) and then ***g up on me.

Called, left an empty voicemail. Came up as a spam caller on Google Dialer.

hi

smithy we are on; the do not call list and this number still calls.
