Trying to buy homes by calling and soliciting.

I applied for a job on indeed for, Fast track courier. They said my hire date would be Nov. 19th. They wanted me the accept a check into my bank account for 5k but, take out 900 for myself as part of their "bonus program" they give throughout the year. But the thing that threw me off was to send back the remaining of the 5k that I get to keep 900 of. I texted back and said that it seems like a scam, and then they stop texting back. Either they are stealing landline numbers or it's legit...which I doubt. I have all emails saved. I need someone to reach out to me asap on this. My email is hoosiercraig5@ Gmail (dot) com
