I answered " Monmouth County Morgue, How can I transfer your call" They said sorry, wrong number and I never heard from them a***n lol. Another great way to annoy any other marketing rep. is to answer the call, make sure they are on the line, then take a fog horn and **** there ears out.You can buy a fog horn very cheap. It's worth it.

these guys call 5 time a day on my house phone and when i don't answer they call my cell phone they where told time and time a***n too stop calling....but they keep calling....

Seems they have a new strategy for people like me who screen all their calls. They have s****ed to stay on the line long enough to make my answering ma****e think there is a new message and then they **** up. So clever but I am still not answering their BS calls.

Ever since I cancelled my Sunday subscription to the APP, I have been harassed daily at least three times a day. I just let it ring when I see the caller id come up. I am so tired of this **** and I will NEVER do business with a***n the Asbury Park Press.

Asbury Park Press, Calls a few times a week. When I tell them not to call me they stop for about a month and s**** up a***n.

From my understanding, it is a telemarketing company called Marketing Plus.  I reported them to the NJ Office of the Attorney General who passed it on the the NJ Div. of Consumer Affairs.  I received a letter from them informing me that they were looking into it.  Today, (11-4-10) I received a call from the investigator who informed me that the company was called and told to remove my number from their data bank or face legal action.Guess who called me tonight at 7:15???I will be calling the investigator tomorrow to a***n report this.

They stopped calling for awhile but now it s****ed up a***n.  This is a fact :It is prisoners from the county prisons on a work release program that get paid to harass you like this.On the bright side , as long as they are on the phone they are not committing crimes on the street

This has been going on for 8 months. I joined the national no call registry and still the calls keep coming. No call registry is as much a joke as the courier post itself. Will have to c****e my number to get some peace.

This number is the Asbury Park Press.  Because of their harassment with these constant phone calls this household will NEVER buy that paper.  You think a newspaper that larger would be professional. I guess they are hurting for business.  Avoid buying this newspaper and and maybe they'll go under and finally stop calling.

I recieve all day long and it is very annoying. I want it stopped.

I literally just had my number c****ed, and JUST TURNED IT ON, within 20 minutes of the number working, THEY CALLLED from this number.!! UNREAL!!!!

I Don't do business from out of state Newspaper.

732-694-1084 These people are absolute idiots.  We did not renew our subscription to a newspaper & they call several times a week.  They have been told DO NOT CALL A***N, but they keep calling.  Finally called the newspaper & told them WE ARE ON DO NOT CALL & DO NOT want any more calls.  We'll see if that helps.  3/25/10

have not given out the phone number to anyone at all since getting it specifically for a dsl line.  on call id, already 7 calls from this number.

The next time these ****s call I'm going to **** a whistle into the speaker as loud as I can, if this doesn't work I also have a bullhorn. I hope they don't make me resort to breaking out the air raid siren that I bought from Army surplus.

I am right there with you Bev.  I am really tired of this number calling.  I don't know who it is because I will not answer any numbers I do not know.  I get called 3 to 5 times a day.  The other night this number called at 8:15 and then at 8:45 the other night.  How do I get this number to leave me alone.

This has gone on for months and months.  It's from a telemarketing company trying to get me to subscribe to the Courier Post Newspaper in Camden County, NJ.  What in the world can I do to get them to stop???

Called number back as suggested by christina (thank you!) and left message to have our number taken off the list.This is a telemarketer for Gannett publications, which includes Asbury Park Press, but also other publications.

Called the number as you suggested and asked to have my number taken off their list...we'll see.The number is apparently a marketing call center****ociated with Gannett publications, so has wider scope than simply Asbury Park Press.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number. I don't know who it is and I won't answer a number that I don't know. They won't leave a message and I am getting really tired of them calling.

Have been getting calls daily for about a month.  I am on the DNC list.  Have gone to the website and filed a complaint.  Have also gone to the Asbury Park Press website, specifically Prevention magazine and left an e-mail telling them to take me off of the calling list over a week ago.  That hasn't worked either.  What can we do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've repeatedly asked them to stop calling, that i'm not interested. A good month goes by without a call from them, thinking wow they actually listened. But I was wrong, I get a call from them atleast 3x to 5x a day, never answering any of the call. I put myself on the NJ Do Not Call List... Obviously it Do Not Work! Now i'm left to c****e my phone number.

This caller is a pest for the Asbury Park Press. He called at about 7:30 PM on 01/22/2010 and badgered my wife and then asked to talk to me. After telling him several times why I did not want to re-subscribe to home delivery due to poor and unreliable delivery and no refunds for missing papers etc. When he asked what he could do to get me to subscribe a***n, I told him to give me his name and address so that when my paper was missing, I was going to find him and gun him down. He became insulted and told me that he did not want to talk to me anymore. Maybe he will not call anymore?

I have asked the Asbury Park Press to take me off their call list.  I guess they don't know what that means.  They continue to call daily.  I wish I knew how to get off this list
