Collection agency, Portfolio Recovery in Norfolk, VA. www.portfoliorecovery.com Calls people repeatedly on debt already paid, old debt that has been charged off and is no longer on an individuals credit report, as well as calling wrong numbers and refusing to believe they have the wrong person on the line. This company is trained to threaten people with law suits (a***nst the law for collection agencies), curse at callers (also a***nst rules and regulations for collection agencies), and generally harass people in any way possible to convince people to give up their money. They do not care if you do not owe whatever debts they are trying to collect, they will just repeat themselves like a broken record and try to scam your money from you.
