I got the call from Amber Knight to.  First, the debt isn't mine, I picked up a new cell and the calls from this company came with it...second, I use Google Voice which automatically routed the message to the Spam folder.  I didn't even know they called until I happened to notice there was an unheard message in the spam folder....that rocks!P.S. I've already blocked the 317 number using Google Voice...sign up if you haven't already, it's a great tool to manage your incoming phone calls.

I too have been receiving calls from this Amber Knight, she called my work asked her not to call a***n then she called back wanting to verify employment asked her who it was for and she refused to say, so that right there is illegal not disclosing who you are and what it is for, so now she is getting a big *** C&D letter. I've received over 15 calls from this number in the last month.  they have a wrong number and have been told that they do. I have turned them in to the FTC.  If everybody would do this it might put a cramp in their illegal style.  If anyone knows of a class action suit a***nst these guys I would love to join in.

I am 10 years old.  Who is calling me and why?  It's annoying.

I have been getting these calls but mine is from chris davis saying he has had several people try to contact me and i dont reallize how severe this manor really is so i called it and he answere just with his name no company or nothing so i gogled the nuimber so glad i found this i dont like tlking to people who wont tell u who they r and what co they r from

i called these fools at the 757 251 9018 today, because they been calling like 5 times + a day so i called and "Chris" answered, so i preceded to ask why he was calling my number and he says it belongs to so and so, im like dude i was reading on the net and all these forums say your a scamer. and he gets all hostile and s****ed going off on me then he ***g up

This number called me and said 'I don't think you realize how serious this situation is'; it was from a David Wells. They state that someone sent me a credit card last year and I made a $25 payment and they never heard from me a***n. They do not tell me who the credit card company is and the big problem is that I haven't had a credit card in my name in I know at least three years. One time before some random dude called, threatened me with a process server and I told him to send them on, I would fight it. Never heard back from them until today at which point I repeated everything the previous guy said to me and notified them that as soon as I told the guy to send the warrant, he ***g up on me. They give no information. This company, w***ver they are, is a scam. You may have credit card debt in your name but the fact that you are speaking to them at all, you are giving them more information than they already have. This happened to me one time before where somebody called from 'equifax' and we set up check payments to come out of our account. I lost the address that the man gave me so I looked it up. About four months later, Equifax called me and said they had four checks sitting there with no debt to pin them to and when I explained why he had those checks he stated, 'Equifax does not operate that way'. So, make sure you are dealing with the right people before you agree to send anyone any money.

I have been getting daily calls from them sometimes 5 times a day are they a real company. or a scam?

Please contact my office at 757-251-9018."I've told these clowns they've got a wrong number and I've blocked 2 other numbers from these guys.  I've got complete history and recordings of calls.  Sooooo tired of this illegal childish nonsense.

I have been receiving calls from this number daily for over a month now.  I refuse to answer or call back as I know it cant be legit.  Has anyone actually spoke to Amber Knight?  What in the***** do these people want?  I am so sick of this...

It has been Amber Knight...now it is Jill (although it sounded like she said Joe...I am****uming she said Jill because it sounded like a female) *****er (I think)...same message

On October 11th I received a call from this # and not knowing who it was and while also driving I let it go to voice mail. Unfortunately, I tend to forget to check my voice mail until it stacks up so I didn't get her 1st recorded message stating she needed my statement regarding a matter in her office, etc till she called the 2nd time. On October 13th I received the 2nd call from Amber Knight stating that she'd made several attempts to contact me (I didn't know one meant several but lets keep rolling) regarding  a matter in her office and saying that she's afraid I'm not aware of the importance of the situation and she needs my statement and that I needed to call her immediately. At this point I'm annoyed. I've gotten calls like this that were all scams - thank God I didn't pay them. Don't they know they are REQUIRED to provide the Company name when they call??? Check with the FTC people and know your rights! Today, October 14th I received a call from Jill Crawford and she stated that her office had tried to contact me several times regarding a matter in her office and that she was giving me the opportunity to give a statement on my behalf. Don't Pay people over the phone!!!!! Get everything in writing!!!! I want it in writing!!!! Or don't bother me with your sneaky techniques - I'm not going to fall for it.

We have been getting these calls for some time.  I just now called them back, and actually got to talk to Chris.  They have been calling for a person who evidently had our phone number at some time, and who must have some debts (we've gotten calls asking for her before).  I told them that there was no one here by that name, and they promised to remove us.  We'll see.

Just got the same call from Amber Knight. These people are relentless.

Yep I just checked my home phone and the exact same message was left which tells me it's a recorded message.  I've had it before where they are calling my home and cell phone at the exact same time.

I received the same message from Chris yes****ay... same number too! Have also received a call from David Wells who has a profile on Linkedin.com http://www.linkedin.com/pub/david-wells/16/444/B43

Wow now they are really getting sneaky.  This time it wasn't Amber Knight from this number.  This time all the message said was "Hi this is Chris.  Call me back at 757-251-9018.  Bye."  Of course it was said in a very friendly manner to make it sound like it was someone I know.  This call came on my cell phone today and I bet I will go home today and the exact same message will be on my home phone as well.   These people are absolutely crazy and ****** if they think people can't recognize phone numbers.

This is another number that CKS Financial uses.  They use numerous numbers with 757 and 804 and sometimes even one from 202 (Washington, DC).  I****ume that one is probably some employees Cell Phone.  They call generally every day and leave a pre-recorded message each time.  I got the exact same message from Amber Knight that you mentioned above.  They are calling on old Credit Card debt that I know is past the expiration date but like any debt collection company they will keep calling and try to get money no matter what.  I hate how they leave no information like what company they are calling from so that you can do your own research.  Obviously they don't want you to know who you're calling and want you to believe it's so****ing incredibly important regarding legal paperwork when really if you call them all they will do is ask for money.

Previous message stated that she was calling about an arbitrary matter and needed a statement.
