I have been receiving phone calls from the #757-271-1514 saying this is CRA****ociates for a couple of months now requesting to speak to my x (the ***her of my children) first it s****ed with actual people like Molly calling but no info on why or on what kind of company this is is ever given, then an automated message s****ed four times a day "if this is --- press 1 if this is not --- press 2  so curious I pressed 1 and was put through to a man that continued to ask if he was working and where, what is the phone number" and so forth well I said I don't know and he proceeded to tell me "what kind of mother lets her kids see a man who doesn't help in supporting them and what kind of ***her doesn't support his kids, how does he pay his cell phone bill?" and I replied "since when is my business any of yours you are not calling for me and who said anything about what your talking about?" see I had not said anything about child support,cell phones or anything that might be the least bit personal at all I just said I don't know he then proceeded to **** up on me. I have caller ID so I called the number back I did get through to a man who calls himself Mr.gogle I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said as a matter of fact your speaking to one so I complained to him about how rude and prying his employee was and asked a***n what kind of company this was and he refused to tell me, it does not violate any rules when asked what kind of company this is does it? after all I was not asking for any details on their business with my x he was also very rude and said just give me his work number and we'll take you off our calling list and I said absolutely not!!!! I am not sure what kind of company this is if it is legit or not still, but I do know one thing employees who work for companies like these should watch what they are saying to people especially towards people who are not the ones they want because karma will always bite you in the a** some time or another.

got a call from a lady from CRA today ....basically the same story others havelooks like they are still at it

I got this same call multiple times from a woman named "Mrs. McCoy" looking for my step***her.  She made it sound very urgent, but it seemed like a bill collection or so****ing similar.  I'm glad I looked this up before I called her back.  I just got off the phone filing a complaint with the FTC and filed with my local consumer protection agency.

Called looking for a person I'd never heard of. I told them it was a wrong number. They called back a day or two later and left a message conveying that it was pertanent to call back "today," still looking for same person. I called back and had them remove my number, a***n. I recieved a call, a day or two ago, from this number the other day asking for someone who I have never meet nor heard of, a Mz. Torres (I cannot remember the first name). I told them that they had they wrong number and ended the call. Today I recieved another call, which I was unable to answer, it was the same voice said she was Sarah from CRA and that she needed to speak to the Mz. Torres and she needed a call back "Today," which she stressed. I returned the call to inform them that they had the wrong number and to have my number removed which they said they did. Then from curriosity I searched the number and found this information. I'm going to call and complain to the ******ia Department of Consumer Affairs, if for no other reason, to have their call on file. If anyone knows a way to find out how they have my phone number and what other information they may have I would like to know. Thank you.

I have received a call from this number when I worked. But  I got the number from my cellphone and call back. The lady pick up and don't tell my who she works for and she was trying to get information about me. So i google this phone number and get to this page; it is useful pages and yet they are debt collecting agency from va. I am now finding away to file a complain to the state of va or the city where this office located.

I had a call this morning, a man called me by my first name and then reading out some other name, asking if that was also my name. I tried to ask question but he salmmed the phone down on me.I googled the phone number and got to this forum. I called the Trade Commisioner as Jeremy was kind enough to have all laid out here ready for us.People, please call the Trade commisioner, they don't even ask for your details, they jsut ask for the company you are complainig about and they said if they get enough calls they will shut them down! Thank you, especially Jeremy, for the information. They called looking for someone with the same last name as mine. Extremely rude people. I have made a complaint to the FTC at the number listed in Jeremy's post; I recommend everyone do the same.

i received a call from 757-392-2392.  i googled the number and it is also from the KMC Telecom of ******ia, Inc. I did not pick up this phone call, because i dont answer my phone for numbers i dont know, and no message was left on my voicemail. i looked the number up and found all of this. thanks for the info, and a***n the number that called me and is NOT on the list is (757-392-2392)

A woman named christine called asking for information about my stepmother, she called my mother who had had no connection with my ***her for over 25 years, said it was a very serious issue and that needed to be responded to immediatly and left the 866-457-9622 for a call back, said company was called CRA also left a file number for reference, Called number back for my mother and was a recorning that it was past bussiness hours and that I had reached the CRA, i then googled the number abnd found this site..thanks to all who have left info

I was su****ious of the message "Sara" from CRA left this morning at 8:30am Central Time. She even knew my first and last name and said she has been trying to reach me and that the mail they tried to send me kept getting returned. She said she needed to speak to me as soon as possible before "processing" these papers and that I should call her back at 866-457-9622. I decided to Google the caller ID and the number she left and found this website.

Recieved a call from Sara today requeting that I take down a phone number for my husband to call. I asked what it was about. Of course she wouldn't tell me but did say that they needed to discuss some mediation before they filed. I kept asking who she was, but she wouldn't say the type of business or anything else. I finally told her he would not call her back and so she said they would file anyways and ***g up.

I received a call from sara from CRA today asking me to relay an message to Curtis Frant. She stated it was imperative and needed myself to have Curtis or his "representation" here in Omaha contact her "before his file 825-486, leaves the office". Her call back number was 877-253-4627 and asked that Curtis call 757-392-0355.

Sara called asking for my husband (she knew his name).  She wanted me to tell him she is looking for Susan Turner because she has some paperwork for her.  Asked that we call Susan and tell her to call 877-253-4627, ext 831801.  We don't know a Susan Turner.  S****ed resear****g online and found this site with similar stories.

Called and left a message with personal information about a person not at my phone number stating it was "imperative" to respond.

I received a call on from this number indicating that it was CRA and it was imperative that I call.  The message that was left was to call 1-877-261-6457. I called the number and they asked for a 6 digit code which I did not have handy at the time and the call terminated.  I decided to google the number and found this site.  Thanks for the information.

I just got this information off another site, the people who are calling you are a debt collection company who is illegally getting your information off your credit reports. Just so you know the number is a cell phone from Portsmouth, VA and the company who controls the "cell" is KMC Telecom of ******ia, INC.  I will request all information on this number by having a subpeona issued by my State's Attorney.I will post more as I find it out.  Remember do not give any of your personal information out.  These people already know you phone number, the names of the people who live with you, and your address.I suggest that you go to websites like www.intellus.com and get your information removed from the site.

I just got a message from Sara from CRA who stated my wife's name on the message stating that she had just received a file on her desk and needed myself or a designated agent to call her back immediately.  Since I had never heard of CRA I decided to Google the number that showed up on my caller id.  This is how I found this site.I'm a State Trooper and will be looking into this, but if anyone else gets any information on these people, even if you just post the types of questions that they are asking and what kind of information that Sara wants, it would help my investigation.I will keep you informed on this site.

Sara from CRA who left a differnt call back number and some story of a guy, Emit Smalley who used me as a contact about some urgent issue in New Orleans. I had my iden***y stolen last week and am su****ious. I have the FTC, FBI and local police on this case and will pursue!
