Yep, they just called me with a super old, closed account.after the spiel about legal docs, court etc. I told her not to try and scare me with threats and the debt doesn't exist. She got mad and said they we will file legal action, we will go ton court and ***g up. Crazy people!

Five different calls from a Sherry or Kim purporting to call for a made up name (Ronda or Veronda) with our last name, regarding a "file #" and to "have your representation call regarding this matter."  No company name is ever given, and WE ARE UNLISTED AND ON DO NOT CALL LIST.  REPORTED TO FTC AND FILING A POLICE REPORT.

Someone named Jordon ( female) called and asked for stepson who has never lived here and when I advised has not/ does not live here ever,  and to remove my phone number. She said it was left as a contact number I agin said remove my number. She asked if he still lived at another address and I advised I had no idea I did take a message from her.  She then asked if he had received aer in the mal . I said I have no idea. She said the company name was Excellerated SolutionsI had just ***g up the phone when the same number called back and asked for my daughter I said who is this she said Jordan,and then asked if I was the son she previously tried to talk to when she asked to speak with my daughter I said you are not talking to my 13 year old stop calling her and try to solicate s**t and she ***g up. I had these calls several years ago. They are annoying. I put myself back on the DO NOT CALL list and hope they will stop a***n.

These people are really a pain. I answered their call but couldn't get any info from them. They called all over the US looking for me Have no idea what they are looking for. Why can't so****ing be done about this com?

After looking at another website, it would appear that these people are praying on people who have recently applied for disability,etc. I had misplaced my SS card and went to get a new one a few weeks ago. I s****ed receiving these calls this week.

Got the same message yes****ay that everyone else is getting. Received another call today stating that "If I do not hear from you today I will have to go ahead and proceed without your input." They do not state that "This is a debt collector attempting to collect a debt" as they are required by law. They will NOT be receiving a call back from me. I have snail mail which any other time, things have been mailed to me.

Received message today from Sara trying to reach my sister.  She couldn't even*****ounce her last name.  Don't know how they got my number.  Haven't lived in same state as her for 36 years.  The same message in regards to needing a statement from her about a matter that is being processed.Did not say her buisness name just this phone number and extension.  Will not call back or answer when the phone number displays.

Someone at this number keeps calling my parents' phone number, leaving a message for me. I don't live there and my parents are elderly & ill.  I need  them to  stop harrassing my parents!

yea, Ranette called me too, Ranette will never receive a call back from me.

called home phone  would not identify company, Identified herself as Ranette and was huffy about no response to do***ents supposedly sent. and said it was up to me to prove I wasn't the person she said I was. Said it was about charges to an AOl credit card. never had one. Caller id listed the number above as being from Chesapeake, Va.

I got the following message on my cell phone for an ex-boyfriend who had not been around for three years: "My name is Jessica and I am trying to get in contact with ****. It’s regarding a pending matter of his that I am currently scheduling to be processed. I need to speak with him today. I do need to make sure that he is fully aware of everything that’s pending on his file at this time, and I also need to obtain a brief statement from him. He can reach my office directly at 757-392-2090, and also his file number is F****x."Ignore the calls. Or tell them they have the wrong number.

when you owe a debt, there is a statute of limitations in your state. You can be taken to court. Your wages can be garnished, your property taken. people with old debts are found this was because they are HIDING in the first place. FIX YOUR CREDIT AND GET IT OVER WITH. You'll feel a lot better if you stop whining and get just pay them already

These people are scam artists. They will not give you any information on their company or any of the do***entation that they allude to on the phone. Do not give them any of your information.

They are not a law office, and I have reported them as alluding towards being one. They are a dept collector, and many times they are trying to scam money out of people on really old debts. that don't even show up on your credit report anymore.

They called both my home and cell phone number asking for the same person.  Ashley left the messages stated in the posts above.  I didn't know the person they were looking for so I asked them for a last name because there are many 'Corinnas' in the world.  She was taken aback and when I wanted to ask her for more information she ***g up.  Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Heather is harassing my family and has even obtained cell phone numbers.  I do not answer or return "unknown" calls.  She has not identified the company that she works with.  She will never get a call through to me using her current tactics.

This is a voicemail message that was left on my phone for my ex whom I haven't seen or been with in over a year... I'm not sure how they got my cell phone number but it seems fake..."My name is Raynette giving you an urgent call in regards to John Doe. I have some do***entation here in my office for John that is currently scheduled to be processed and I need to speak with him immediately so that I may obtain a statement on his behalf. Have John return my call at 757-392-2090 my direct extension is ###. You will need to reference file number #######. A***n this message is urgent for John. Please have him call me immediately."

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THESE SCAMMERS OUT OF VA. THEY HARASSED MY ELDERLY MOTHER UNTIL I GOT A HOLD OF THEM.(ASHLEY) ANSWER IT NEXT TIME AND GIVE THEM*****. ANY REAL LEGAL DO***ENTS WOULD BE SENT TO YOU IN THE MAIL. THEY'RE TRYING TO GET INFORMATION SO THEY CAN SCARE YOU WITH FAKE DO***ENTS OR OLD CLOSED DEPT DO***ENTS THEY'VE BOUGHT WHICH THAT'S HOW THEY HAVE YOUR INFO. ,TO TRY TO GET YOU TO DEPOSIT MONEY IN THERE ACCOUNT.PLEASE DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THESE PEOPLE AT ALL. they called my house at 7:00 pm...didnt get anyone called my mom and said they needs to see if i got my do***ents in the mail???? then to me they said they needed a statement from me before they proceed any further. so im thinking maybe bill collectors
