The fellow had a very heavy Indian accent which isn't cause for concern in and of itself. He told me my "operating system is not licensed", that "many complaints are being issued from my computer to the central server". He wouldn't/couldn't tell me what OS I had. He insisted that "this is a legitimate call". I explained that I have 25 years in IT and I think he's full of it. Then I ***g up.

This man called saying I had a virus on my windows computer and asked for money to fix it. I don't even own a windows computer. Please do not give this scam anything and **** up.

The people who would fall for this scam, will never come to this site. If you have gullible friends/family, tell them not to talk to companies that call them. Especially if you can't understand a word they say.

This is a spam call. Don't fall for their line. It will cost you a lot of money

States there was sensitive information found on my computer. Told them I don't know who they are and to have a nice day.

India accent said hackers hacking into my personal PC with out my knowledge and want my to help them get there ip address. told them i was at work (1pm) and call back after 9pm when i was on my PC probably scammers

Called about computer virus and told them that's funny because I don't own one and they ***g up (shhh, I do have one) ;)

Telemarketer that waits for you to speak 1st & they act like you called them to request their services...

Tells you that you have a critical error with your computer and they will help you fix it. Do not take these calls! Do not get ****ed into this!

I answered, after about 10 seconds, computer voice say "Good Bye" I am sure it is just another scam call.

Got the call, could hear lots of talking in the background. Figured it was a telemarketer, so ***g up.

Caller had a fake-sounding Indian accent and said they were Technical Support calling about my computer. I told them they had the wrong number, then ***g up.

said they were the technical team calling about my computer. My computer? Really?! Told them they had the wrong # and ***g up on them.

Called cell phone number. No message.

Thick Indian Accent - says they have reports from their servers that my computer has critical errors and they need information.
