These guys called with no CID and didn’t leave a msg., so I called them back and got a recording that they’re a collection agency. I ***g up. I’ve checked my credit report with 3 Credit reporting agencies, TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. My credit is fine. My credit score from the three is a low 735 to 752. So I think this is some sort of fishing scam.

THEIR SCAM IS TO TRY TO SCARE SOMEONE INTO PAYING THEM MONEY VIA CREDIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT INFO. THE DEBTS THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT ON HAVE LONG AGO EXPIRED. THE FEDERAL STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS EXPIRES ON UNCOLLECTED DEBT AFTER 7 YRS. DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM OR PROVIDE THEM ANY INFORMATION OF WHATSOEVER TYPE. REPORT THEM IMMEDIAELY TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION WHO AT PRESENT HAS IN EXCESS OF 6,000 COMPLAINTS. THEY HAVE TROUBLE TRACKING THEM DOWN BECAUSE THEY KEEP USING PHONE NUMBERS WITH VARIOUS AREA CODES. SCAM!
